I tried to stick to the colors and indications of the brief, and present something both funky and rustic (using a worn out look). Since the brief indicated a preference for a logo with a symbol ( I integrated a sort of grungy star - both for the reference to the Lone Star State of Texas, where the company is located, and for the sort of bomber plane idea it evoked, which reminds me of flight simulator games hence touching on the gaming aspect of the company's services.
I tried to rework a previous design based on the critique that the other seemed to military. I thus changed the colors to grey, blue and red and savaged the star a bit.
Thanks for the change, however you changed the font as well as the "texture". will you please use the same font you used before just less rustic in texture?
I redid the lettering for the word "funky". I had to completely change fonts, as the one I had been using was worn-out looking and I searched for what seems like forever to try to find a non-grungy version of it, without luck, so ended up sort of tracing over the grunge lettering. Hope that is what you are looking for. Thanks for your feedback.
