Nice work lucadolci. I like the play on two F's. The brand icon is strong and could easily standalone. I'm also erring on the side of not being too adventurous on the typeface given the audience. Still may as well think about what variations we could use on the text.
Also perhaps a silly idea, by how about adding a tag/symbol to the name to indicate the site is a place where you interact with experts? To give you an example iBird (contest held on logotournament had the wireless symbol at the end if its name). Not sure if this will make it too fussy - what do you think?
I'm running designs past a couple of friends...independently they have also chosen your design...their comment:
ooh, i kind of like # 5. ... looks like you have something in a box that you are providing access to. very cool ... awesome ...
Hi PazzoMundo, thank you for your feedback I really appreciated that.
Yes, as they said your friends this is the message that I wanted to communicate.
For your idea, in my opinion if you want I could think for a solution. On the other hand, the message must to be clear and simple in the same time; in the sense that the logo must to keep it (the message) if it's so so small or in b/w.
Anyway I'll try to think about a solution because about this brand I've so much invested :)
Hi, I added this simple element for give an idea of an "high knowledge environment" In my style, I prefered to keep the logo as simple as possible so as not to lose focus on icon.
