Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ You, the Client, are very important! Your active participation is the single greatest factor influencing this contest. Active participation by you, the Client, helps you get the logo design you want!
~~ What's active participation? It's updating the brief with more information for Designers to work with as the contest progresses, providing feedback to Designers on their entries when they're submitted, and ranking designs at least once a day.
~~ When you provide feedback to Designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion.
~~ Rank designs at least once each day -- this will encourage Designers to submit more entries!
~~ Ranking prevents your contest from going idle! Active contests attract more Designers.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed. Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Please note: if you're asking for a design that will require several hours to create, to attract Designers willing to invest that amount of time the prize should be at least $400-$500. All "Character" style logos fall into this category.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested." We'd like to know what you don't want so we can give you the design you do want.
~~ The first phase of the contest is the "Open" phase, and everyone can submit during that time.
~~ After your contest's initial "Open" phase closes, it will enter the "Top 5" phase; only the top 5 ranked Designers will be able to submit revisions at that time.
~~ The "Top 5" Designers are the first 5 Designers in a contest, not the first 5 designs.
~~ When "Top 5" ends, the "Judging" phase begins. The Designer of the 1st place design will be the only Designer who can submit revisions at that time.

These are far to similar to the first round of FF logos. If we didn't select your logo the first time, don't resubmit it. So far I don't like any of these logo options.

Huntergroup,

maybe a wee bit more design direction and input will go along way in developing a direction you want..simply saying you do not like the designs submitted is not useful information.

Basically we are shooting in the dark and simply uploading designs that hopefully you'll like, which is counter productive for both you and the designers who have participated in both contests.

Please remember we are working for free (unless we are selected winner) for you on our own time and we are not employees of Logo tournament.

That is fair Scott, The main problem is that they are almost identical (and sometimes identical) to the designs that we rejected in a previous round. The reason we didn't give a lot of direction is that we are not creative or designers so we wanted to leave lots of room for the designer to be creative. We gave as equally little suggestions for our TriMount Leasing contest that is currently happening and the designs we have received there have been fantastic which is why we decided to up our price point and hope for a bit higher quality design.

My suggestion would be stay away from the double F look.

Hello huntgroup,

Here are three questions that will help Designers understand your business better, so we can give you a design that fits well with your needs. Keep in mind that we are not asking you to direct the creative process with these answers. On the contrary; designing a good logo is akin to a sculptor looking at a body of a sculpture and making a head to match up with it. So the more we know about your organization, the better able we will be to craft an appropriate logo for it.

1. Why was the company name, "Frontline Factoring" chosen? Why "frontline" and why "factoring"...? These are not terms many Designers are familiar with, so please speak about how the name should be explained to folks in layman's terms.

2. Who are your competitors? Do you feel their logos are successful? Why or why not?

3. Please name 3 logos, in your industry or not, that are logos you love or hate. Please elaborate on why you chose these 3 logos.

Getting to know your company and how your visual preferences line up with your needs will help all Designers better serve you in this contest. I know that time is short, but these questions will help Designers in the Top 5 phase as well (which is when only 5 Designers work with you, by the way).

Best of luck to you on your contest. If you need any further assistance from Admin, please hail them through the "Help" tab at the upper right-hand corner of your screen.
