i offer a unique concept based on your wish described in the brief, the drawings are completly original (i made it in the "pencil way"). The logo can be expresed in this four ways: just one color, two colors, typography only, or full color.
Letter style is better but it just doesnt pop yet. what about hearts in between the tag line phrases instead of dots, and I like the full yellow circle.
Yes, of course! I will upload the variations and let see. It can be in two colors for a more elegant and economic style and print, and full color for web and tv matters.
I uploaded some variations: in black and white and with (#33) or without the background circle (#34). I feel the circle looks good in full color, but the logo looks better without it in black and white.
The blue logo is made with two colors: #36 blue and black.
Thanks, looks great. what about 3 color? making the people black and white and friends and the hearts color? 3 color works great for shirts, etc I have been told, full color is a lot more.
i made some 3 color options, and two with black background, for you to see how it would look in a black shirt. Maybe you can tell me if you got a color shirt in mind, so i can put the logo with that color background. I made some options for the circle; with an elegant stroke, with a solid stronge color and in those cases i make a stroke for the other elements, so they can ´pop´

i enter a typography version #56 and a version without the slogan #55, because i want to show the versatility of the logo. For example, is possible to have in the menu some meals named ´friends´, like something unique from your restaurant (the "friends" hamburger). In that case, you can use the type version logo, instead the complete logo that would need more space.
In case of the logo version without the slogan, im thinking in some rare cases where the logo loses legibility (if you need publicity in a small place, like a key ring or lighter, for example).

i find another interesting letter. Still the same concept, but with this letter i think the design is closer to the style you want (you mentioned something about cheers), i´ll wait for your comments :)
I like the new cartoon people but still like the original friends font the best, especially in the blue. somewhere I saw someone put a heart around the & between Restaurant & Deli which looked cool.
Can I trouble you a bit more? 202 is perfect can we make 56, 158, 155 48, 54, and 34 match font size so that I can use it for my sign, adds, tshirts, business cards etc. I also liked 160 and 153, or just send everything you have done and I can sort through it. Also if you would like, I would love to hang your picture in the store as a friend, part of our theme, and let people know that you created our logo.
