Looking forward to your good ideas, designers! 13 years ago 3by400Inc Client For now, let's not put the slogan on the logo. The name is long enough without having to insert the slogan as well. Just "Free Ride Marketing", please. Thanks! 13 years ago 3by400Inc Client We're okay with some "funky" ideas...possibly a bit retro....but we also like a modern font and appeal. Any ideas on marrying these concepts? Thanks! For the designers who aren't American, or for whom "funky" is not a well-understood slang word:Funky - a. Characterized by originality and modishness; unconventionalb. Outlandishly vulgar or eccentric in a humorous or tongue-in-cheek manner; campyThink 70's, disco, bell-bottoms, etc....just listen to the song referred to in the brief! 13 years ago 3by400Inc Client Designers, please submit on white backgrounds only. Thanks! 13 years ago 3by400Inc Client Here are some other thoughts that might stimulate different ideas...To us, "Free Ride" is about getting pulled along by something bigger than you..in this case, the use of major company tools, like Google's Places or HootSuite, in order to propel a smaller business with free tools.Concepts that might relate are: >hitchhiking >catching a ride on the back of a produce truck >hanging onto the back of a trolley >the Nascar concept of "drafting" being behind another automobile to maximize aerodynamic advantage (drafting down the "Internet Superhighway")Other ideas? 13 years ago 3by400Inc Client Love the STRETCH of the new concepts loaded. Now, can we get some more "refined" artwork versions? 13 years ago 3by400Inc Client Ya'll remember this "Keep on Truckin'" guy? Another icon from the 70's...does this drum up any last-minute ideas? http://www.google.com/search?q=keep+on+truckin%27&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=4g&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&prmd=ivns&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=lwFFTpn1Eqyr0AHP4enJBw&ved=0CCIQsAQ&biw=1280&bih=839 13 years ago 3by400Inc Client For those designers who have waited until the 11th hour to submit their work:It is really impossible for us to evaluate work that comes in so late. It is unfair to those designers who have been cranking out refinements throughout the contest. Either you have no confidence in the contest holder to identify and throw out copy cat designs or you consider your work to be so "spot on" that it doesn't require time for refinement. At any rate, we cannot honor your last minute work and hope that in the next contest, you will give your best efforts honorably and with timing that allows it to be fairly evaluated with the other contestants. 13 years ago
