What We Do
The Arizona Burn Foundation provides emotional and financial support to individuals and families who have survived severe burn injuries and provides prevention education to the community to prevent future injuries.
Industry
Non-Profit
Color Preferences
No real preference at this time. We do not want too many different colors or color fades. Please remember that the logo will be embroidered on shirts and hats among other things.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Please remember that burn injuries are not always the result of fire. Flames are common in burn foundation logos (especially when run by fire fighters) but may not be the best fit for us. However, we are not ruling out the possibility of a flame if it is done well. The logo should have a nurturing, warm feel but one of strength and protection.

Good luck to all. We are excited to see your creative ideas and know the winning submission will do much to help us provide our services to families that have suffered severe burn injuries.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

This is a great start! We'd like to see some designs that do not use a flame. We also would like to see the emphasis taken away from the word Arizona and placed more on Burn and Foundation. Keep them coming.

To all: we like the variety and creativity. We'd like to see a little less emphasis on the word "Arizona" and more focus on the word "burn". If the word burn is more prominent, we will need to rely less on a flame icon to convey our identity and our mission. Also remember that if the design is too intricate, it will not translate well to embroidery on shirts and hats. Please consider other icons that would give a nurturing and protective feel. Great ideas so far so keep them coming!

Hello designers: We'd like to see some additional color variations. Please consider some earthtones like deep greens or olive, tans and deep reds. We are in the desert and they seem to have greater appeal than primary colors. I like the way some of the logos have turned in a direction away from flame. Keep up the great work there is a lot of creativity amongst you!

Great submissions! This is very impressive. Please stick to earth tone color schemes with less bright colors. For example, gold as opposed to yellow. Also, please make sure that if you are using a flame logo that it does not appear that a person may be burning in that flame.
Thanks!
