We believe Houston, Texas should be a world leader in practical data science. We use immersive, hands-on instruction with real datasets and cutting-edge algorithms to train our students to deliver pragmatic solutions for modern business problems.

We'd like to look more professional, choosing colors typical of U.S. Fortune 500 companies or banking/finance industry (which are often blues, greens, blacks). We do like color splashes, though, so please don't feel limited on your colors. At the same time, we will not select logos with more than 3 colors.

EDIT #2: We've been most enjoying the logos that incorporate blues and reds and least enjoying the ones with greens.

We help people learn cutting edge (new) math that lets them use data to make better predictions. They will learn to predict stock prices, which customers will return, which oil wells could produce more, etc. Lots of these people will come from medical industry or oil and gas industry. If it helps with ideas, these math techniques are often called neural networks, time series, machine learning, natural language processing, or deep learning.

Companies in a similar space are Palantir, Cambridge Analytica, Galvanize, PredictIf. We are not big fans of their logos, but it gives you an idea of what this industry tries to look like.

Here is the answer we gave her: There are 3 of us founders, we also were inspired for the name by Isaac Asimov's Foundation book series (science fiction) where there are two foundations who care deeply about knowledge (we would be the 3rd) and use to advance faster in technological progress to a better period for humanity
