Thanks for the unique entry! I was almost seeing a cactus with the sun in the bg here.

I would say our top priority with the icon is to stress the renewable energy / energy efficiency aspects: solar, wind, cfl lightbulb, etc. The fort aspect would be secondary.

As far as the lamp (light bulb I think) it would be best to go with a spiral compact fluorescent shape:

I agree #34 is awesome, our #1 priority is that the icon shouts 'renewable energy' because those words aren't in our actual name. From looking through your profile, you seem to have a real gift for melding icons into letters. This is definitely interesting to us and would like to explore.

For the full text - Definitely prefer a stronger edge, with less curve especially the 'F' on 'Fortify'. I am guessing that 'Energy' could be curvier and it would pop nice.

For a white background we would like to see 2 different colors for Fortify and Energy in the font also.

i am looking at e-music theory. i would have given you gold for that.

can we recede the top green part to make yellow 'F' backwards 'E' symmetrical.

maybe spread them apart a bit and make that the entire CFL bulb.
otherwise try one in the metal screw like you have it, and one in the lamp (bulb) part of the CFL.

so with the above edits you will have unique points for saying 'energy effeciency'.

the arrows are good. but i still want something that screams 'clean energy'. maybe try to color the arrows-
1. red/orange/yellow for solar
2. light blue for wind,
3. dark blue for water
and then something inside them like 3 different waves..

starting to get somewhere real attractive. i think its appropriate to 'float' the E and clip off the little piece. make it straight up backwards E. i like two tone orange-yellow for lamp color.

#69 is my favorite so far. has the best shape and color,
but the lamp needs to be darker, 'F' darker orange/red, 'E' lighter orange/red

cut the piece out between 'E' and the metal screw.

On mine resemble CFL #70 more

i don't know if I like the stretched 'E' in the lamp.. I think it can float away from the metal, with the 'F' connected to the metal. hope that makes sense.

make a small lamp piece, color is bright yellow. from the right side of the metal up - don't connect to the 'E'

and on the 'F' from metal up - make the color red (as tall as yellow box).

F in red (all) or from red to yellow

'F' is red only from metal to start of 'E'.

'F' is all red.
dark red from metal to start of 'E'.
light red for the rest.

and yellow box is thinner, possibly even orange.
or right side of bulb is yellow, and box stays yellow.
