The initial mobile app products will be called "BROTHER FOR LIFE" and "SISTER FOR LIFE". We thought a circle with those words inside would be simple and clean but we're open to all ideas. We want the ability to substitute "BROTHER" for "SISTER"...we want the logo to be applicable to both and be recognizable to each individual target audience. We like the idea of an emblem or pictorial mark that either be part of a logo or stand on its own for marketing purposes (i.e. cups, decals, etc).

Designers - We're very much looking forward to your creative input. We're trying to create a logo that we can easily customize based on our audience (i.e. BROTHER FOR LIFE, SISTER FOR LIFE, FIREFIGHTER FOR LIFE, "XXX" FOR LIFE). As important, our customers all have their own "colors" - 2-3 unique colors that they associate with their organization. It would be great if our design could be modified easily so that it incorporates the colors of our clients...it would provide customization for them but retain brand image for us.

Please remember: "FOR LIFE" is a suite of mobile apps for your phone that will be customized and sold to a variety of unique markets. This is why we referenced BROTHER..., SISTER..., FIREFIGHTERS...etc. Each is a unique customer base but its very appealing to us if we can easily "swap" our customers in the design. For example, Design #3 includes 'brother'...we could easily change that to 'sister' or 'firefighter'. This maintains brand and logo continuity but updates it to a specific new audience. Incorporating this idea into the design would be beneficial.

Incorporating text bubbles, people icons or design elements that emphasize the product is a App for your phone is also appealing. Emphasis that its a technology solution is positive.

DESIGNERS: When we set up this contest, we included a tagline "Open the door to better chapter communications". Please disregard this from the logo design. A tagline can change throughout marketing campaigns - our logo won't. Sorry for any confusion!

DESIGNERS: #54 and #55 have created an interesting element that I think could be used to update several designs out there. The fact that the logo and "forLife" in these two entries could stand alone is great. The fact that the embellishment of "Brother" in #54 (or "Sister" in #55) being a separate color that also included a corresponding embellishment of color in the logo is intriguing. Please don't take this as what everyone needs to do...please take it as follows:

- We need the base logo and "forLife" to be able to stand alone
- We would very much like to embellish the stand alone brand with a word/element for custom implementations of the base solution (as was demonstrated in #54 and #55)
