Let me know what you think!(This comment references Entry #24) 15 years ago forrestfox Client Very nice. I would like to see it with something less "slick" than a Glassair. Gear hanging down, etc.Like one of the other designs, I can imagine a flash version that cycles through a few different aircraft, and model specific tee-shirts. I'd say you're tied for first right now. 15 years ago RaspyDesign Logo Designer little more flashy(This comment references Entry #31) 15 years ago forrestfox Client I like your first one best. #32 Can you work out a reverse arc, so the airplane is pitching up? Font is a little hard to read. 15 years ago forrestfox Client #38 Really like the font work. 15 years ago forrestfox Client #38 Aircraft seems out of place somehow, and the arc a little bit too much like a smile. I have no idea how to fix it. Maybe just let it sink in a while and see what ahppens. Good stuff. 15 years ago forrestfox Client #38 Can you post a version on black? Leave the main fonting the same. White web text. White aircraft and arc. Thanks, Forrest 15 years ago RaspyDesign Logo Designer little different version with the plane upside down and the arc less "smiley facey" :)Let me know what you think!(This comment references Entry #48) 15 years ago RaspyDesign Logo Designer on black(This comment references Entry #49) 15 years ago forrestfox Client Last night I thought about upside down. Works great! Tough to beat. If you still want to experiment, I'd start with a new one. 15 years ago forrestfox Client Now the inevitable "FedEx" resemblance comes into play. Any ideas past that? A little italic maybe? 15 years ago forrestfox Client It occurs to me that when printed on an aircraft, "EXPERIMENTAL" is usually all caps. Make the "X" a capitol and we'll get away from the FedEx brand easily. What do you think of that? 15 years ago RaspyDesign Logo Designer Thank you once again for the feedback! It is much appreciated. Ok - so, I have capitalized EX and also added shear to the text to make it italicized.(This comment references Entry #57) 15 years ago forrestfox Client How about the fonting from #32 with the swoosh and aircraft from #57? Feedback around here is that all of the big block letter examples (not just yours) are just too close to FedEx. 15 years ago RaspyDesign Logo Designer I will combine those two as well as play around with some other fonts. :) 15 years ago RaspyDesign Logo Designer Here is a font style that I think looks great. It's fast, it's slick, and I think it ties in well with the aviation theme you're going for - and we get away from the FedEx similarity. Let me know what you think!(This comment references Entry #59) 15 years ago forrestfox Client Excellent job!Where's your Cirrus school? I'm taking my PPL checkride next week. Would love to work my way up to a -22 someday. 15 years ago RaspyDesign Logo Designer Thank you!We are at KVNY, where are you at? 15 years ago forrestfox Client KMIC / KANE. Mach-1 then? Just looked at the AIrNav info. 15 years ago forrestfox Client OK - no rush on this. Nitpicky stuff. Can you add just a couple of details to the airplane silhouette? Maybe define the canopy and add some shading to the fuse to set the back wing off. Maybe a little red/black stripe down the side. Keep it very simple. The outside edge of the swoosh seems a little big segmented in the tiny version I have to look at. Maybe it's fine. Can you also adjust the fat end of the swoosh to match the angles on the tail of the airplane? Consider a gradient in the swoosh as well. The stark white seems a bit plain now that you have such excellent reflections and shading in the fonting. Nothing crazy. Thanks, Forrest 15 years ago RaspyDesign Logo Designer Sure thing, I will work on these suggestions and submit some new ideas. :) 15 years ago RaspyDesign Logo Designer Here is a more detailed version of the plane. I've also fixed the arc shape to be more smooth and also line up with the tail. :)(This comment references Entry #73) 15 years ago
