simple text treatment, but i think it stays contemporary with a feeling of connection... feedback is always welcome!

I think this is a good start. Can we make a revision that has the text "FIRST CHURCH" abit bolder and add a glow (neon or diffuse) to the word "WiRED"...maybe a slightly brighter green.

I think maybe working on the “Wired” color (maybe an "electric blue" would help it, and/or push the “First Church” flush right or flush left with the word “Wired”, then possibly add a thin rule between “First Church” and “Wired” (might not need the rule). I think this just needs a little work, and it could be a great and flexible logo...Some on our team are overlooking it right now because it lacks pizzazz compared to the others, but it does have great potential.

i think lowercase font is interesting and kind of modern. most of the entries have wired in all upper case .... but the i with a dot and the lower case e are more sleek and modern than the rigid lines of capital letters.

There is interest in these updates. Thanks so much. It would be nice to see the blue version using the "E" in caps as in #6. Please also make the words "First Church" abit more bold (or clear). They seem to be a bit "fuzzy."

Also, there is concern about ease of reproduction, especially in all BW.

#22 - the font is very eye-catching, and i like the flow. i would love to see the "first church" justified above the "wired" instead of tucked in to the letters or centered above. so, stretched out to fit exactly above the "wired".

#35 - i like the green, and like the lowercase letters in "wired". But, the green is a little light in color though, or maybe make the “First Church” a shade of gray, so “wired” pops more?
#32. This is slick, with the reflection, and the 3D effect...is it too slick? I like it though. I like how way “First Church” is placed on this, not broken part like the others.

a little bolder approach, plus a slight variation. let me know if there's anything you'd like to see as we near the end!

Hi Exodus,
I think we are very close. There has been alot of discussion...I think I am ready to commit to one of your designs, but we need one more set of refinements to entry #80
1. Change the color to the rich blue color used in #22, but keep the color even (the color intensity varies too much in #22 and we worry about reproducibility.
2. We are concerned that the ratio in font sizes could be a problem between the font size used for "wired" and that used for "FIRST CHURCH" This would be a concern if the logo is reduced. Thus, increase the font size of FIRST CHURCH (use a ratio closer to what is seen in entry #88) and justify the words across the word "wired" so that FIRST CHURCH spans from the beginning of the "w" to tucked just inside the upper tail of the "d" as you currently have.
3. Add the under shadow as in #22.

I hope you get this and we can wrap this up tomorrow. Thanks again.

adjustments as requested... let me know if the blue is the shade you are looking for. since there was such variation, I used a color from the fill of #22, but as you said the blue covered a lot of ground there.

I also made an adjustment to the thickness of 'wired' for this one, just to compare apples with apples for my previous entries. i had made the most recent much bolder.

Thanks so much! We like #103, one more (hopefully minor request), can you extend the undershadow/reflection in #103 more fully...the reflection under #22 is a bit fuller and it is clear what it is. I think we are just about there. Thanks again. Our team is really impressed!

Thanks so much! It looks like #105 will be the winner. Will post. When I get the .eps file can I also get one in greyscale? I could probably change it to grayscale, but it will be easier if I have an original .eps in both the color and greyscale versions.
Thanks so much!! You do great work.
