Connecting the current generations to Christ

First United Methodist Church (FUMC) West Lafayette IN is launching a new edgy, contemporary worship service called “First Church WIRED.” We need a logo for this new service. Obviously, we are a church (Christian). The vision for the new service centers around “connections” such as “connecting the current generations to Christ” or “Connecting you to God and God’s people.” The mission as stated is “a new outreach and missional ministry of FUMC with the purpose of connecting the current generations to God through a growing, personal, and relevant relationship with Jesus Christ.”
The logo will be used on promotional materials, posters, flyers, postcards so text needs to be readable when scaled down to postcard size and readable from a distance on posters. The word “WIRED” should be the most prominent feature and should be able to be standalone or used with the words “First Church.” Key concepts that could be conveyed included the “connections” focus, but certainly something that conveys a modern, contemporary, edgy feel would be great.
