Color Preferences
We like the following colors, however, not needing to use all or even multiple ones. These simply represent some of the concepts Fava stands for. We don't want it to look like crayon colors or "cartoony".
Red - earthy red, fiery lava red - Passion, alive
Green - earthy hunter green - fertility, health
Orange (maybe) - energy, creativity, uniqueness
Grey - metallic - sophisticated

Our Ideas & Additional Information
Logo’s we like:
Peet's Coffee and Tea, Jamba Juice, Subway.
We like how the font type is original and custom. It is unique and not something that can be found on normal computer software. Also, we like how the emblem color ties in with that of the product, thus initiating the customer experience. We like how the abstract logo images are not directly associated with the commodity (i.e. a coffee bean or bananas and strawberries) but rather, they speak to some aspect of the customer experience. For Peete’s, the blanket design speaks to the hand-crafted origins of the coffee growers and helps customer associate with indigenous people in the far away lands of Central or South America or Africa. For Jamba Juice, the abstract swirl image is associated with the act of mixing several fresh ingredients of different colors to arrive at the final product. Subway's logo shows originality, simplicity and motion. Essentially, we feel that the logo design should fundamentally and implicitly express the heart of why we are in business.
