#12, Nancy I like the classic look on this, you're the only one so far who's captured that part. I'd like to see variations on a theme with this look. We're probably not going to use any background color but I it makes the logo pop with it. I like the weathered and worn look to it, keep that. I'm not apposed to the brown either. Maybe try one in black with gilded highlights. I like the wings at the top, very understated. Can't wait to see what else you can do with this!
I like the wings a lot better in #65. I saw one of your comments about people using clip art. This is my first time using Logo Tournament so I wasn't aware people did that. Thanks for the heads-up. However, the guy who I had in the #1 spot had a really cool "clip art" cherub that looked perfect. We'd like to use a cherub as a branding piece on napkins, t-shirts, matchbooks, etc., without using the name "Fat Angel". Can you add a rough sketch of a classic-looking chunky cherub with a wine bottle in his hands? Maybe on top of the current typeface. Also a little less distress on #65. Can we see it in black? I see some detail work on the corners of the border, is there a way to increase that detail? I'd like to see a little more something with the border. Not a lot, but something that really frames the Fat Angel, something that says, "within these borders resides an a very special name". Thanks, JAson
Revisions look good. Can we tweak the following: Angel's eyes-looks a little demonic, maybe come down a touch on the shading. Angel's loin cloth-I've attached two Flickr links to the actual angel that will be on the front of the space. Can we get the cloth to look as close to the picture as possible Wine glass-can you switch it to a wine bottle, and maybe decrease the size of the bottle. The glass is a little too big Angels Wings-make them a tad bigger, so they peak out a little more Typeface-a littel less distress Border-It kind of reminds me of something that would be made of wood which we won't be doing with the logo. Can we explore another border scheme.
You're the closest so far so if we can tweak a little more we may have something to go with.
