Where your local agricultural community and consumers connect directly, share knowledge, and do commerce.
What We Do
We are a social networking peer-to-peer marketplace for urban and rural farmers and hobby farmers, ranchers, processors (domestic-bakers, farmers selling jam from their own crop), and consumers connect, browse (crops, food, livestock, and value-add products), share knowledge, and do commerce while supporting their local economies.
I want the text of FarmFresh Collective to be gradient (collectively, not individual characters) with guacamole color #A6D785 strengthening to a compatible darker green that then goes to another compatible color? I want it to symbolize growth. Other colors should aesthetically compatible with #A6D785 that are other greens, blues, whites, light grays, I want the colors to be soft yet distinct.
We'd like the gradient to start at the upper left corner with #A6D785. Play with the options of different gradients. Possibly have the first letter of each word (FFC) be a slightly different color to draw attention to FFC (see additional thoughts on this in ideas).
We want the background to be able to be placed over any color background, so therefore transparent.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
We want an uplifting, clean, creative, distinct, and easily recognizable and memorable logo (both graphic and text) that is welcoming/inviting and not overly busy. We want it represent a sense of community and fresh agriculture.
The attached logo is a very ugly, rough concept of what I'm looking for. We especially do not care for its icon appearance of the persona indicators, it appears too harsh.
-Text must Read FarmFresh Collective (in all caps with the first letters bigger to resemble capitalization)
-We'd like the text to be left justified with FarmFresh above Collective.
-We'd like the text to be in all caps, but with the first character of each word to be larger with the same aspect ratio as a capitalized letter followed by lowercase.
-We'd like the text to be easy to read with semi-smooth to smooth edges; no times roman or the like. We like the text appearance of the Grown Pops inspiration logo because it combines a letter with another; and we like the harvest logo because it ties in the graphic with the text.
-We want there to be a graphic to the left of the text that shows three personas: farmer type, producer type, and consumer.
-We want the personas to be recognizable. The farmer persona is indicated by a pitch fork or other easily associated simple item; the producer persona is indicated by a generic apron (baker/butcher/florist); and consumer is indicated by a reusable grocery bag (possibly with corn, bread and eggs showing at the top, or other like goods one would get at a farmer's market).
-Within the above personas, we'd like the initials FFC to be represented somehow with each persona displaying a character. (F- farmer persona, F - producer persona, C - consumer persona). Possibly with a different color shade, or shape of the persona, maybe geometric shading? Or whatever way as long as it's noticeable, but not distracting.
-We'd like all personas to be silhouette-like (possibly blue, gray or green?) while the above indicator items #A6D785 green.
-We'd like the personas to not be aligned in a circular fashion like the attached logo. A possibility is the consumer is front, center and slightly larger; the two other personas slightly in the background, but still easily recognizable. We do not want it to look like MySpace’s old logo with personas. We'd like to somehow show the relationship among the three personas.
-We want the left graphic logo to be able to be used as a stand-alone logo for an app badge and the graphic logo with the FarmFresh Collective text, so please make sure the graphic is appropriately sized for an app badge.
-For the logo option with the graphic and text, we’d like to see an option with the graphic spaced to the left of the text, and the other with the graphic cleanly tied in with the text while maintaining a non-busy look.
But if you have a better idea, show us; we're open to suggestions! The only thing we request is the graphic design (without text) be the appropriate size for an app badge.
