Hello, I know you have asked for no more bird icons but I thought this was subtle enough to not be obvious. The falcon is such a proud and powerful animal it seems a shame to not use that to your advantage.
We do understand your point, and appreciate the thought that went into it. We do, in fact, like many of the falcon images in this contest, but only when they are on their own. When displayed on our website, they lose much of their appeal. We've looked at hundreds of logos now, and this has been our realization.
Your particular logo (#227, #228), while fairly well-designed, is too unclear in its purpose. It kind of looks like a falcon, kind of looks like a lightning bolt, and kind of looks like a generic brushstroke. In this way, it loses the viewer's eye.
We're still looking for bold new ideas, where a powerful, unique, abstract logo makes an instant impression on any of our potential clients. We look forward to seeing what you can do. Thank you!
Thank you for your feedback. Here is another option. This font layout works very well with your webpage set up. The single feather adds interest and meaning to the logo and can be used quite easily as an icon on its own as well as a watermark.
#297 looks rather nice on our web page. The font, layout, and graphical styling are all modern and elegant. The feather would probably look much better if it was white (with a slight gradient to add depth, as you mention).
The main problem we have is that we're reluctant to use a feather as our main symbol. It is too old of an image for a modern, forward-thinking company. We're wondering if you can think of any other imagery, preferably abstract, that could better promote our key values, while maintaining the same elegant and contemporary style you're using in this logo. We hope to see more designs from you. Thank you!
simple abstract image of a falcon from above, subtle depth by layering and casting shadow on words. The mark can also be used on its own. I am happy to make adjustments if you would like to see any.
