I'm more familiar with photoshop than illustrator. I *think* AI means it's vector and can be sized as small or as large as needed. Is this correct? Is there a way to get a large photoshop file as well (if not, not a problem)? Also, how large will the PNG and JPG dimensions be?
While you're in there, could you include a 16x16 favicon for the website of just the logo?
ALSO: do you do any independent work as well and how can I reach you?
Thank you very much. File types for uploading: AI, EPS, JPG ang PNG with transparent background. Please use vector format for printing and advertising, JPG and PNG for website and worksheets. Font name i will provide in private message. Thank you again!
Hey there, this is the final version we are selecting. Having never done one of these tournaments before what type of files will we be receiving for this? Obviously we would like to have as large a file as possible that can be made. Also, after we select you as the winner could you please provide us with the font that is used in the name so we can use it in other places through out our website and worksheets?
Sorry for the lack of feedback from us, we both got very busy here at work. We are gathering in the morning and will try to get this pushed through until the end. Thanks!
Thanks for this. Just to let you know we are selecting you as our finalist. We want to see some more adjustments, alterations and other versions of this but this icon is the basis of what we're selecting for
1: Could you do some versions where the small gray box is attached to the big light gray box? That way it's more like the blue and orange design.
2: Can you do some effects to the blocks such as gradients or other classy styles?
3: Get creative and send us some more revisions of your choosing.
We keep coming back to this as the basis for our logo. Can you submit a few different flair or small detail changes as you see fit to see if it goes somewhere else? The boxes as is are fine. I think we enjoy the 2D better than any 3D modeling. Throw some more at us :)
This tiny box might be right for enough gray contrast. Maybe somewhere in the middle of this and #1209 could be produced.
In addition - and again it's just ideas that I'm not sure will work but see what you think: Could we flair the smallest box with a few even smaller boxes around it? It could either create movement, or something. Try it out :)
ALSO: I updated the briefing to give even more inspiration and feedback. What I like about this design is that it sort of symbolizes us as a company adding pieces to our client's business. They rent a primary space but have access to other spaces inside our center which to their customer makes it seem like it all belongs to our customer. Hope that makes sense!
I personally keep getting drawn back to this format. I'm wondering what else can be done to pump this to an extra level? Part of our group likes it flat as well but I'm curious to so other slight variations.
Refer to #1218 for line thickness with emptiness instead of fill.
I wonder if making the depth of the line further back almost as far as a cube would look good? I'm just throwing stuff at the wall at the moment to see if this should evolve or go back to the flat dimension
We had a discussion on this because again we like this direction. I particularly enjoyed the medium box filled with the orange rather than the tiny box because it gave the logo more color :)
Just as feedback to this, we did like it but I think the pixelation mainly in the large square made it too busy. Thanks for that path that you took though!
Thank you for the quick turn around, we are liking the direction this is headed. Could you submit 1 or 2 more with that small block with a lighter gray? 1 just a lighter than where it is now, and 1 somewhere toned down about 40-60%?
We also would like to see an additional idea we had around this. #1089 started going 3 dimensional. Could you take the largest square in the center, while leaving all the others plain, 3 dimensional? But do it in a way that it's just a faint line or something. Be playful and just sling a whole bunch of ideas out at us in regards to that. Thanks!
Please tell me how I can help you continue with the next round of logos. We really like this option. **The font choice in this revision is what we really like.** The icon itself if all else failed would be acceptable. However, we want to see what else you can do. Please take a look at our revised brief that we modified yesterday to see if it helps inspire you. And of course, please communicate as much as possible. Thanks!
We didn't mentioned confusion or dissonance. We were wanting to see if you can add some depth to the icon. The shading inside the icon is nice, we wonder if something can be added outside of the borders to create more to it. We think this is a good basis to build on. We are also curious if you have even more designs :)
Hi Steven, thank you for your feedback. I do not see any dissonance in this work, maybe you can specify what specifically confuses you? how do you see it? Thanks.
Hi E2, we are advancing to the finalist round before the end of today. We like this icon and want to see if it can grow or be even more polished. We also want to work together very closely to see if there are more ideas that can come from you and see if we can finish out this contest fulfilled with a new logo :) We are very excited to work with you. Thanks!
Hi E2. We are just getting back into leaving feedback. Again, this icon specifically isn't the one for us, but your style continues to impress us. Please keep submitting more ideas. Thanks!
Very nice. We continue to like your style, we aren't sure this one speaks to us. Just as information we will be enjoying the holidays for the next 2 days so we won't be responding as often. Please rest assured that we will get to all of your incoming designs. You are a strong front runner for us. Thanks!
Thanks for this! Really appreciate the quick turnaround. We think we like including the orange after all. And please submit more options if you have them! We really like your style and would love to see more...
Hi! If you have a chance, could we see this same execution but with blue instead of orange as the pop of color? (Keeping the shades of grey...) Thanks!
We also like the simplicity of this. Though it is not a fit for us, something similar to this would be a good a revision. Maybe a similar icon. We again like the additional shades to create depth. Thanks!
We are also drawn to this one and like the simplicity of cleanness. The font is also nice and modern. We don't feel the icon is for us, but we enjoyed it. Do you have any other plays on this idea? Again, the 2 shades of multiple colors gives the icon depth, and we like that.
We really enjoy coming to your page and looking at all of the submissions. You have definitely grabbed our attention so please keep submitting strong designs.
We enjoy the color dot above the i, we enjoy the font, and we also enjoy the simplicity of the squares and the color combinations. The fact that you also make each color 2 different shads to give your icon depth is something we like.
Hi! We like this font choice a lot. We've seen a lot of people playing with the X (and making them arrows). Could we see other ideas from you that also use this font and your unique style? Thanks!
