If I'm at all close, I'd love some feedback. This design could also be simplified if need be. thx

These designs are great! This is a really good direction.

Can you try combining/mixing the colors between #9 and #10?

Also, on #9 add something that contains the scroll around the edges.

Maybe curve the horizon, think along the abstract lines of #1 for the inset. Display more water as well.

Increase font size, break border?

Try inverting the curve and stack Marathon and Festival.

My how the color/type options are endless! Are these getting closer? If you will look closely you will see slight variations of each either with the "Marathon Festival" baselines, sky background colors, and/or border colors (next to the scrollwork border). I also spiced up "The Palm Beaches" just for the fun of it. I like how it's evolving...

Thank you for the feedback!

aegraphics- you said, "Maybe curve the horizon, think along the abstract lines of #1 for the inset. Display more water as well."

I'm not sure if I changed it enough for you. I did curve the horizon (looks much better) and showed more water. But I didn't really "abstract" it up much. Did you want choppy waves? I chose to show the beachline, but could do something different here if you prefer. THX

#55 is very good. We really like the text breaking outside the diamond.

The single color for the background is preferred or possibly a blue to coral gradient as the sunset rather then the rays.

We also like the border on #9 better. I know we mentioned previously containing it but #55's border is too dark.

Great job!!

Hello aerographics,
I noticed I dropped out of the top spot. (Yikes!) Is there anything I can do with my latest design to plus it in your eyes? I'm worried that with the "Marathon Festival" changes I made the cityscape is harder to see/appreciate. Feedback would be very much appreciated! THX, Sam

We have decided to remove "Festival" from the name of the event.

Can you please remove "Festival"? Move marathon down some and increase it's size slightly.

Can you please use the border from #66 on #55? (We like the rays more then the gradient.)

Thank you!!!

I hope I made the changes correctly. Of course if you chose me we could fine tune the colors for both web and print media even further. I think I've hit the best combination of high style and beach fun, and of course, I am happy to make more adjustments if need be.

Thanks for all your feedback (it really, really helps)!! Sam

For this one I enlarged the images inside the diamond and added a little more detail to the buildings for interest.

Here are a few iterations we would like to see...

1) Blue "sparkly, crystally" border instead of green. Very much like #75.

2) "Marathon Festival" in a ribbon on the bottom of the diamond.

3) Background without the sun, but keeping the rays. However, try one with blue/lighter blue rays, and one with coral/light coral rays.

4) Try curving the coast like it is on http://marathonpb.com/

Thank you!!!

Done, done, done and done.
Regarding the rays, I thought I'd try a sunburst effect instead. Because I added the ribbon on the bottom & no sun I decided to enlarge/shift the city, shoreline, water, etc upward. I did one sky in corals #109, and #108 in blues. You will also want to note that each shoreline is new & slightly different from one another.

Hope you like it (crossing fingers)!! Sam

Can you try curving the buildings with the shore line?

Hi Sam,

I have a few more changes we would like to try out...

Can you try something different with the type face for Marathon Festival, it seems hard to read.

Most of these changes come from thinking about how we are going to be screen printing merchandise.

- Remove the drop shadow behind The Palm Beaches, this won't translate well with screen prints.

- Can you try two designs with ribbons similar to #115 and #68

- Can you make the inside border the one brighter coral shade.

Thanks!!
