Don't know if I want to have a litteral superhero icon for the logo. Was thinking more suggestive, see fartpower.com contest #32 that you did.

And the tricky part is to also communicate home comfort not so much electrical.

Hope this points you in a better direction.

Also, needs to be Energy Defenders with and "s"

Will also work on making outer shape of #4 more like a house.

#4 is definitely in the right direction of a crest. The crest really needs to work independently.

For energy, think thermal (hot and cold), not electrical.

Intersecting "e" and "D" in oval also form circulating arrows (one forms arrowhead while other forms the tail) withing the outer barrier of the oval.

Zrox - The more I keep revisiting #12, the more I like it. Can you take that design and give it a 3d look. Also make the orange into red and the blue a little darker and richer.
