Hi,
Thanks for your entries. #32 is Cool! Clean, bold and unique. Nicely done.
Best regards,

Hi again,
I just want to commend you on the "X" symbol. It captures the vectors/arrows, cardinal points, and in an abstract way, terrain. Brilliant! That's something I would be proud to use if its the winner.
Thanks!

Hi asti,

Merry Christmas from the US!

Thank you for the revisions. I like the adjusted 'X'. But I think the tagline actually takes away from the logo. #32 and its red/white version (#33) are still favorites of mine and my friends.
Can I please see #66 without the tagline plus it's red/white equivalent?

Kind regards,
-- Bruce

Hi asti,

I'd like a few revisions please:
- on #67, can you drop the tagline;
- on #72, can you try a 'taller' font;
- and for the 'X' -- sorry, I'm not good a describing colors -- can you try a 'bolder' red?

Thank you very much,
-- Bruce

#179 >> #67 without tagline and a clear red

#179 is almost done -- the 'X' needs to be centered, and the color is not quite right. Maybe its because it doesn't have a gradient anymore. How do I direct you on colors? I don't want to point you to other examples, so how should I proceed? Should I play with a color picker and give you RGBs?

#185 taller font

#185 is too extreme. I would prefer that the 'X' remain symmetrical, like in #72. Maybe taller was the wrong word, perhap narrower is better -- for example, what if the top of the legs in the 'M' were one-stroke wide instead of two-stroke widths.
Thanks for working with me,
-- Bruce

Hi asti,

I'd like to get the 'X' to stand out a little more in the logo, and I want to ensure it looks good all by itself as an icon.
Can you please try out the following two ideas on #187 (independently and in combination)?
- apply a thin border to the geometric elements in the 'X' (and/or any other ideas you have along those lines)
- apply either a slight rounding or squaring off of the points on the outside corners of the 'X'

Thank you very much,
-- Bruce

Hi asti,

Thank you for the revisions. The border treatment didn't turn out as good as I had hoped. The naked version is still the best. Thanks for trying.

#187 seems to be the easiest to read; the 'X' is unique and distinguished from the other characters -- I think it would look great on a shirt. But the 'X' doesn't look as good when it is by itself; but it works great when it is embedded in the text.

I thought it would get easier to choose a winner as the contest nears the end, but its getting harder.

Thanks for your help,
-- Bruce

Hi asti,
I still like #187 best, but my friends seem to like #196. I read the rules, and I understand that colors are something that can be shared between designs. Could you please attempt a black/red color gradient on the 'X' using the shade of red in #196? I'm curious as to what it would look like if the gradient started from the center of the 'X'.
Thanks,
-- Bruce
