I'm going to move away from the shield idea. Thanks for all your help so far. I'm open to any other ideas you have in not using a shield.

This is my favorite one you've done. I like the balance of the logo having text below. It looks real nice, but the elephant looks too magical to me - like something out of an Aladdin Disney film. The elephant doesn't feel strong enough to me probably because of all the rounded edges of the elephant's body. I'm not sure if you want to try to do a rework of the elephant or if you have other ideas around that of how to make the elephant look stronger. The shield looks strong but I want the elephant to look strong. Maybe try something without the shield because right now it has two object, a shield and an elephant and to me the elephant is the most important thing.

I prefer a lighter background than the solid blue. I wonder what something like this would look like on a white background.

I think the way the outline of the elephant joins the shield is clever. It makes it feel more strong. Something about this makes it feel more like the logo of a large corporation only - and not the option of being the logo for a small company too. For now this company will be just me.

If you have ideas for a less wispy elephant on the other I'd be curious to see what it looks like here. Overall I like the color a bit more but it's good to see an option like this.

I like the font style. The shield is nice because it implies computer security as the shield is often used in that context. I like the blue color. Only thing I don't like as much is the wispiness of the elephant. It doesn't give me the sense of strength or power in the elephant - its more the shield that implies strength.
