Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
we would really like to see a lower case e that is an original design. with some demension to it and laying down slightly or on an angle. we also want to make sure that our name is part of the logo as well.
zrox the designer has a logo that we like it probably is a z but could be a e as well. we also will have to use this logo as a black and white so shading needs to be proper
we like the type font used in example #1, we like the shield (though maybe a bit more defined and masculine i.e.coat of arms) in example #2 but we do not care for the 'e' in the shield - we are looking for a lower case e and blue, green & silver colors within logo/design.
#31 by leonjoseph is where we think the font should be, love the colors and all together great. now if we could see more shields w/ the e we are looking for!
# 115 is great design, he took our consideration and did really great work.
we are a company that takes other companies metals: forged, stamped, welded, takes their creations and cleans them, paints them, and gives them back.
we want them to know that they are stronger than ever, have the protective coat they need, and we couldn't do our work if they didn't do theirs.
Now that we have really have started to get some great work from all the designers, and we are getting these designs in the 11th hour we have asked the Logotournament.com administration to extend our project by one week. We check often so keep em coming..... thanks and good luck!
wow...another week, it's a lot of time having in mind that's December and Crristmass is aproaching quickly, and some of us might be travelling a little earlier ;)
Understood with the concern Ulahts, however it was my idea to use that font you've used on most of your submissions and color contrast of the "ele" to the "metal", you really shouldn't raise your hand when your ever so guilty... Theres no crying in BASEBALL!!... Nice shields however!
leonjoseph: First Neuropol can be found on almost every typefoundry's gallery especialy on Typodermic which claims to be the maker. You cannot claim a work that was done by someonelse before. Second: you cannot clame a colouring and that's different than using somebody else's whole idea. Besides, you see that i have tried to use a different font, more special, i even used in my very first submissions another version of Neuropol. Since the font is free for comercial use - that means you can use it on your like but you can not re-distribue it with sale intentions. Thirdly: I am not guilty of anything and things are as clear as the blue summer sky!
____________ Actually i would suggest you Tyler to make it all clear - as a rule maybe: when someone submits a wordmark logo and it's totally unaltered - meaning it's submited in original fontwork - then the designer should inform the contest holder about the font and it's type of licencing. This should be a rule to avoid any future issues regarding the typework used.
@ CH can you please rank the new entries so we know you have seen it? Leaving them in unranked section we dont know have you or havent you seen it. Thx
