these are great, could u steal the font and color of #31, and mix the 2.... also could i see similar shield designs with minor tweaking; like having the e in the shiled completely or changinging the e a bit too.... really great stuff, oh maybe a black n white as well?
Here you have another version with the e inside the shield. I will prepare a b&W version of the shield logo as well, but first you have to know that bevel and embosses will completely dissapear and the slight 3D effect will not be so powerfull as the full color version.
thats great too, speaking of the bevel could u move it so it doesnt look like the shield has been bent. also can u have ele in black and metal in blue. the font can be slightly, very slightly fuzzy too, maybe the black just a little more tan the other, we wanna show how we get a piece of metal from a company and paint it to look shinny and new,
I have adjusted the shape, changed the steps and colors of the gradient to make it more fluid - so the bent effect is off now. I have added a mask above with more shine and also some shoddows added to make it more natural. Let me know what you think.
120 don't u feel that with the black reflection we loose the e. it might be better if it goes away, also the font, i don't expect for u to take what #31 has but that is the exact color, shade, size(proportion) font for sure! can u try that and those colors with a green shield just to see...... don't get me wrong no one has even come close to ur shields!!
I agree, somehow too much black actually is adding too much contrast to the e and that's why is not so visible but on the other hand it gives the impression of metal much better. I personally like the grey / blue combination and favs are at the moment: #124 and #120(last one maybe give a smaller the grey scale on the dark part of the shield) Please see the updated versions and let me know what you think. I will be online for another 4-5 hours for today ;)
127 and 109 are so slick..... i like the font too in 127..... the shield and the font are damn near perfect. i still love the e, but if there was an area were u could play with i believe that would be it.
also some of the partners would like to see red and purple :0( if u get a chance maybe i will like it too.
awesome thanks, i feel like going into the shield making business.
Regarding the typework/font is no problem to request using it for everyone else as it is a freeware font called Neuropol. You can see both of the samples of Neuropol for example in my submissions #127 and #115, and the rest of them similar. Entry #128 uses a custom font. Regards Emi
Here you have another version, i enhanced a little bit the look, fixed some minor nodes and curvatures also rounded the e to fit more to the selected text. Regards Emi
I have a lot of tweaks and submissions that i barely can see which ones you like and which ones you don't. If you decide to go with one of my entries i am open to work later on color changes, tweaks and so on to finalise the logo. It could be a little bit odd, but if you don't want to go with any of my entries then the entire work and my time is wasted. Just let me know what your intentions are and then i can make the changes.
u shouldnt have to worry about any wasted time! u are killing the comp! can 166 be more dirty green? like a grey green? does it matter at the end of the competition if u win and have extra "short list" entries... does it help ur ranking?
Sure, i can add a version with a combined green and grey colors, though i am worried a bit about the printing as melting grey and green in the same plane of color will result a darkere murky green stripe always on proccess printing and believe me i worked as a printing machinist / prepress for a few years ;)
Here you have something i did quick with a gradient mesh. I would stick though with the full color behind the e-shield just because it's more visually pleasant and besides the high contrast between the shield and the filling color gives more visibility power.
congrats we love the e and shield out line, and how it all comes together.... that said we like the lighting of 163: the vibrant blue shading of the e and shield is great dont get me wrong we love the shadding in 165 its just 163 really pops.... i remember when i was young and i did grafitti and we would add the lil twinkles, like at the top of the e in 163 can u add it. really awesome work again. i will have to look u up if i ever make it to Romania.
