This (#97) looks great - can the same be done with a shield shape in lieu of a 'plus' symbol?

Thank you for the ranking and feedback. Here are two designs with a shield: one with the name inside and one without. Hope you like.

It looks like you still like the original design so I wanted to give you one that's a little more refined and styled. Hope you like.

They are both great, but I think I prefer the color scheme of #97. Can we try both a shield and detailed 'plus' with those reds and blues?

Not a problem. Here you are. These are a bit stronger, I agree.

Just so you know, the site really compresses the images so the colors lose a little brightness. It's especially bad on the color red, so it would normally be more vibrant then what it shows.

I took these back to our project team and everyone really likes #109. There were a few requests for revisions if you have some time to try them:

1. Do you have any ideas for shapes other than a shield? It looks great but we just want to make sure we've considered every possible idea.
2. Can the shapes for the fire be revised?
3. What if, instead of fire, ice or snow was somehow used? Might not work with the red, but maybe another color or shade of blue will work. We'll be consulting firms on ways to mitigate water and snow on their buildings, so this might be a cool way to illustrate that.

Again, excellent work. Thanks for your time.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'd be glad to work up up a few variations according to the feedback. I'll try to get some ideas up tonight or tomorrow morning. Thanks and keep me posted if you think of anything else.

Here's a couple of variations based on the feedback. I'll have more coming tomorrow, but I wanted to see if you liked where any of these are heading. Thanks

How about the scheme of #122 with the shape of #109

Not a problem, here you are. I really do like the shield with this design because it ties together your whole purpose of protection. I think the translation is kind of lost in other shapes...

Thanks,
Aaron

Can we see one version of #129 without the fades/shading? Similar to how the original, #97, was done.

Here is a flat color (3 color) version of the original. The one with shines and reflections would work well for web, and this for print. Thanks

Hi Aaron,

I have one final request: could you add "construction services" under "Element"? It could be a relatively smaller font size to fit in roughly the same width, or whatever you feel looks best. The emphasis should definitely be on the word 'Element'.

And we can't decide whether to use the more polished "web" version, or the solid print version.

Either way, we should have a decision tonight and be able to release the funds tomorrow.

Thanks for all your work through this process.

Hey Bill,

Thanks for getting back to me. I'll have those changes up in a few. In regards to which version to use, I recommend keeping both on hand. The web version will be great for the website and electronic ads, also for print items that you need to look a little more polished. Then I would use the print version for print items that will have a shorter lifespan, flyers brochures etc. because it will be more cost effective.

I add the Construction Services here. I aligned it to the left in order to plan for when you may need a horizontal layout for the logo, which I'm uploading next. However, if you don't think you'll need this then I can center it. Thanks!

Horizontal, flat color version.

I see what you mean - the left-orientation on the horizontal one might be perfect for a letterhead. For the "vertical" option, centered is probably best.

How easy is it to manipulate this logo later if we want to align horizontal or whatever? You can only issue one version file, correct?

No I can send you multiple variations of the logo. Vertical, horizontal, web, print, etc.

Thanks,
Aaron
