Shaping a Sustainable Future

This is a brand for a small Town in Massachusetts (Easton, MA). This logo will represent their municipality's Climate Action Plan. This logo will be used on their plan document, website, fact sheets, and other public-facing communications materials.

Here are three colors that the Town of Easton has used in the past:
-Gray (PMS 424 C)
-Navy Blue (PMS 534 C)
-Orange (PMC 173 C)

Please feel free to iterate on these colors and add complimentary ones. "Environmental colors" like greens, blues, and yellows are a good place to start.

We are looking for a stack layout OR a side-by-side text/graphic layout for this logo. Here are a few concepts that we'd like to see; please feel free to expand and iterate on these.

-A logo that includes a compass pointing East (see attached photo of previous Town of Easton logo with a compass).
-A logo that incorporates a compass or arrow that is more of a text treatment with "Forward Easton," where the compass or arrow points "forward."
-A logo that incorporates one or more shovels (see attached photo of previous Town of Easton logo with two shovels). Easton is known as "Shovel Town." Could show these shovels in the ground, planting a tree, using a shovel like an arrow pointing "forward."
-A logo that speaks to the tagline - "shaping" a sustainable future - maybe with hands or tools.

This is a community in the northeast of the United States in Massachusetts. Feel free to include "natural" design elements like trees, leaves, etc. since this logo is for an environmental initiative. Do not include mountains, palm trees, or coastlines since those are not features in this part of the country.
