Are you able to provide something less obvious? Say for example a image based on royalty?

I was looking towards a crest or emblem logo that might represent that.

Our name Duke is symbolic of strength and leadership.

Meaning of Duke:
(n.) In some European countries, a sovereign prince, without the title of king.
(n.) A leader; a chief; a prince.
(n.) In England, one of the highest order of nobility after princes and princesses of the royal blood.

This may inspire you.

I would like to say that your angle of being abstract works well. However the shape supplied leans more towards a female demographic. If you get a chance try and design a crest or emblem that incorporates both sexes and add some colour (no more than 3).

I encourage you to break the boundaries, but try and stick to the brief provided and use some examples I have provided in the "Contest Discussion" section.
