Thanks for your submission. I think the font looks okay for "dmmg" but doesn't necessarily fit well for the text underneath. A lot of guys have come up with similar designs (text in what I'm calling a "tag" format) with the text written verbatim. Any chance you can come up with something more along the lines of a symbol? Something like what you created for Digital Advantage or Game Changer... etc? I think with your creativity in symbols, there is a chance you could heat up this competition. :)
Thanks for the latest designs. Let's scratch #51 altogether as I don't think it'll work for us. I like #52 as-is, but think we can do the most good with #53.
Here's what I had in mind. What if you took first took the symbol above #53 and then stretched it out so that it was as wide as the DMMG lettering below it. Then, take the left upsidedown version of the G and remove the little "-" that makes it a G. Then, you'll basically have a single loop representing a "D" and a bunch of empty space in between for MM and then the G at the very end. Do you think that'll work?
LOL, btw... I totally realize I asked you to create a unique symbol, which is what you did perfectly. I just immediately had the above vision when I looked at it for the first time... and figured it was worth a shot. I'm not trying to spin you around in circles. ;)
Thanks for #68, but I think something was lost in translation. I really like the treatment (colors, rounded letters, etc.) in the symbol of #53... I was just thinking if you could stretch it apart (sort of like you did in #68)... but literally separate the letters. So if you looked at it left to right... the D would come in from the bottom, round up to the top, curve back down... and then stop. The little additional piece (the - ) would go away. Then you could do a nice rounded M and then M and then the G exactly as you have it.
The overlapping would essentially go away (like where you have D and G joining in the middle). Instead it would just be white, and the letters would be next to each other instead of covering each other.
Much closer with #74. A couple things would need adjusting... here is some feedback:
In #52, the image is borderless, and the bottom of the D and top of the G are white. I like that effect.
I also like it as a rounded rectangle with black corners like you have in #52, and blue in the center. Also, can you try something different with the MM's please? It's OK if you have to make the whole thing wider to make room.
Hi, #99 is almost there, but I think the MM needs to be a different font. Feel free to experiment around. Albeit artistic, it should definitely look like M's... :)
