What We Do
We are an e-commerce website that offers a wide range of products including household goods, mens and ladies apparel, and health & beauty products.
Industry
Color Preferences
We would like to stay away from a predominantly red logo, but red can be used as an accent. Blue is a good color for the ideals we want to communicate but it is not required.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
The Distinctive Stores website is the umbrella website for a number of smaller more niche category websites, including health and beauty websites, men's and women's apparel websites, household and kitchen goods.
All of the products in these smaller websites are also in the larger Distinctive Stores website. So in effect, we are a Collection of Small Stores rolled into one website. As you visit our website, you will be able to go from one store to another. We don't want to evoke the early "1990's online mall" look, instead, we want to have a more modern 2000 era retail look and feel, demonstrated by brands such as restoration hardware, starbucks, pottery barn and many of the newer High Value reasonable price retailers.

We feel our current logo has too much "flourish." While it may be good if we only sold high end apparel, it does not work for our diverse list of every day products.
