Top Three Things to Communicate

#1 - New England............lobster comes to mind... seaside scene
#2 - possibly an etching, old style in black and white
#3 - possible cartoonish lobster character

Our Target Audience:

Mostly women- 20 and up , that love to cook and entertain., Men, too.... Logo needs to represent New England
My new book to be released in called What's Cooking In New England? Setting on cover is a table filled with breads, cheese, wine and plates on a farm with rolling hay in background. Underline is a taste from farms to seaside bistros all over new england, back cover is a stack of bread .

Color Preferences

etching---black on white
lobster idea- red, black, white
really open to new and fantastic ideas to carry onto kitchen hand towels, pot holders, aprons, t shirts, etc

Our Ideas and Additional Information:

Thinking of a lobster hugging a lobster pot, mayber wearing a chefs hat with Whats Cooking on the hat, and in new england on the lobster pot, funny one, same idea, with the lobster just leaning into pot, no hat, more of an itching design, classic new england. beachscene?? with boats coming in

To all designers-#1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7

I do not want the Digard events on this logo............... I am interested in seeing this 2 ways, one more of an etching in black or another color, that has simple lines and represents New England, lobsters, crabs, lighthouses, beach scene, boats docked, etc.

The other is more as a cartoon, fun, colorful,

both can use the Whats Cooking or Whats Cooking in New England

This will be used on t-shirts and kitchen items, such as hand towels, pot holders, wooden spoons

So please remove all the digards from the logos~~ thanks so much, cant wait to see more designs--

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

Hi again -- are you looking for two separate logos or are you asking designers to explore two different styles to see which you want?

Hi Guys,.................... I am looking for 2 specific styles........................I am not sure if I want a more classic style, that is like a drawing in black and white, a little more upscale and very New England.

or a more fun, colorful, cartoonish logo

I do not want Di Gard Events on any of the logos, I would however like to see some with the

What's cooking or What's Cooking in New England.....and some just plain, no writing at all.

I try to keep up and look at all entries every few hours so eveyone knows what I am interested in. So far I am seeing alot of great ideas!! Keep them coming, I look forward to many more great designs.

Designer # 63, I love this, but would like to see a more simple American sail boat and the background a little cleaner, something that will transfer to t shirts very clearly. And then see it in all colors that you have sent.

thanks so much
