Hi,

Entry #4: Can you make a version like Entry #5, with the text next to it? I like it very much. Is this helmet design "unique"? or did you use it from somewhere and added the face on it?

Entry #5: I like the way the logo is structured (character left, text right)

Entry #6: The character is nice but maybe a bit too generic... Don't know but I like entry #4 more... If you could perhaps give a slightly updated version of this character I might have a different opinion.

Hi, thanks for your feedback, I'll do the revisions soon. And by the way, yes, the helmet is my unique original design, I made it form scratch. Please wait for my next entries.

Thanks,
Edwin

Just brainstorming: On entry #4, could you make a duplicate entry but with a trowel or hammer or some construction material holding in his right hand?

Hi Warezqq, here are some revisions and variations for you #28 #29 #30 #31 #32 #33 #34 #35

General comment: I will only rank the designs once but please make both versions (with our name right and under the character)

#28 #29 #30 #31 #32 #33: Cool - The hammer, perhaps you can use another hammer (see entry #23)
#34 #35: Not so good match imo, the face is a bit too strange
#36 #39: Nice try (++ for creativity) but the outcome is a bit less
#38: Clean and simple but nice - I like it

I'm undecisive wheither I like the helmet smiley or the face smiley the most...

Could you complete my previous comment or doesn't it work out as good as I am thinking?

#57 #58 #59 with new hammer --> cool

#60 #61 blue helmet --> hmm maybe not that

#62 #63 original helmet design with hand holding a hammer --> i like

#64 simpler design without the left hand --> ok

Serious designs: nahh

The only reason you are not the first ranking (yet) is because that character idea (with the @) is really great - but I like your design more when it comes to web 2.0 style

Since the top5 picking is coming closer and you will most likely be in the top5,

Just a small feedback on your top entries:

+ web 2.0 - your entries score the most when it comes to w 2.0
+ the character - very friendly, attracting, I like it..

working points:

* cannot decide if the helmet should have a face (one of your first entries) or the face should be on the helmet.

can you do entry #62 without the medal?

Client
Hi,

#62 is your best entry, #38 is nice too

Could you please:

*add hand & hammer on #38
*Make #62 without the medal
*Use the following blue color when using blue: #4289DE

I will move duplicate/older revisions of the logo to the not interesting side and rank only the unique designs.

No problem, here they are #96 and #97

If it comes to web 2.0 you would win by miles. But me and most of the friends who I asked feedback on prefer the other 2 entries more when it comes to the character itself. Definetly worth a top 3 entry though!

No problem, did you intend to close the contest or still want to see another new designs? If this contest still open, I'll submit some new designs for you.

The contest is still open. My preference goes to the logo that is ranked first now, but if suddenly I see one that is more appealing, I will not hesitate to change my opinion :)

Thanks for your explanation, here are my new design #120 #121 #122 #123 #124.

This time I use more simple character design but still have a web 2.0 feel on it. This character still look good in small size because it didn't have any unnecessary details on it. And also this design if embroidery friendly, it can easily applied to fabric print or embroidery.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Edwin

I like it very much! That much that I will ask my friends a revision of their top 5 :)

Hey,

If I rank #120 first, could you make re vision and try to make it a bit more web 2.0, the logo? I like the design and it seems a lot of people do.

Hi, did you mean like my #96?

Client
Maybe that's too much - not sure (and no glasses) but a little bit more, I just want to see the effect

Client
And please try to use the blue color that is mentioned before (the one i'm using on my site too)

y the more yellow helmet? I liked the original color (or is there a mismatch when making it more 2.0?)

Logo Designer
Hi, sorry about the yellow, a web 2.0 look is identical with gradient color, so I put a little brighter yellow to it.

I'll try another color for the helmet, please wait for my next entry.

Hi warezqq, if you want me to do another revisions just let me know, I'll do my best to bring you the best for your and company need.

Just want you to know that I created my latest design (#153) by considering many aspects which probably would face you in the future.

My design is simple with less of unnecessary details so you can easily print it in small size and even embroidery. You can see at my single color #124, I use all shape for the design and not using a thin stroke which will make a problem when you print it in small size.

And the anatomy of my character open a wide possibility to create pose variations, in example a confuse pose for 404 error page, a smart pose for help or FAQ page, and many more.

Thanks,
Edwin

Hi,

I will most likely pick you as winner. Could you just try to make a few more alternative versions of this one, just for information purpose and maybe to see if there are aspects that I like more on the potential of this logo?
I will pick you as winner after you can do that.
