Entry #4: Can you make a version like Entry #5, with the text next to it? I like it very much. Is this helmet design "unique"? or did you use it from somewhere and added the face on it?
Entry #5: I like the way the logo is structured (character left, text right)
Entry #6: The character is nice but maybe a bit too generic... Don't know but I like entry #4 more... If you could perhaps give a slightly updated version of this character I might have a different opinion.
Hi, thanks for your feedback, I'll do the revisions soon. And by the way, yes, the helmet is my unique original design, I made it form scratch. Please wait for my next entries.
General comment: I will only rank the designs once but please make both versions (with our name right and under the character)
#28 #29 #30 #31 #32 #33: Cool - The hammer, perhaps you can use another hammer (see entry #23) #34 #35: Not so good match imo, the face is a bit too strange #36 #39: Nice try (++ for creativity) but the outcome is a bit less #38: Clean and simple but nice - I like it
I'm undecisive wheither I like the helmet smiley or the face smiley the most...
Could you complete my previous comment or doesn't it work out as good as I am thinking?
"Just brainstorming: On entry #4, could you make a duplicate entry but with a trowel or hammer or some construction material holding in his right hand?"
#62 #63 original helmet design with hand holding a hammer --> i like
#64 simpler design without the left hand --> ok
Serious designs: nahh
The only reason you are not the first ranking (yet) is because that character idea (with the @) is really great - but I like your design more when it comes to web 2.0 style
If it comes to web 2.0 you would win by miles. But me and most of the friends who I asked feedback on prefer the other 2 entries more when it comes to the character itself. Definetly worth a top 3 entry though!
No problem, did you intend to close the contest or still want to see another new designs? If this contest still open, I'll submit some new designs for you.
The contest is still open. My preference goes to the logo that is ranked first now, but if suddenly I see one that is more appealing, I will not hesitate to change my opinion :)
Thanks for your explanation, here are my new design #120 #121 #122 #123 #124.
This time I use more simple character design but still have a web 2.0 feel on it. This character still look good in small size because it didn't have any unnecessary details on it. And also this design if embroidery friendly, it can easily applied to fabric print or embroidery.
Hi warezqq, if you want me to do another revisions just let me know, I'll do my best to bring you the best for your and company need.
Just want you to know that I created my latest design (#153) by considering many aspects which probably would face you in the future.
My design is simple with less of unnecessary details so you can easily print it in small size and even embroidery. You can see at my single color #124, I use all shape for the design and not using a thin stroke which will make a problem when you print it in small size.
And the anatomy of my character open a wide possibility to create pose variations, in example a confuse pose for 404 error page, a smart pose for help or FAQ page, and many more.
I will most likely pick you as winner. Could you just try to make a few more alternative versions of this one, just for information purpose and maybe to see if there are aspects that I like more on the potential of this logo? I will pick you as winner after you can do that.
