Hello DarlingDale, could you clarify your comment about NON vector. Logo design should never be done using Photoshop (bitmap editing) for logo work. Too many disadvantages.

All logo designs submitted must be in vector format that is LT policy.

The winning designer is required to upload and EPS file (encapsulated post script) which will be vector plus 3 jpgs images. However I highly recommend that you have the designer send you the illustrator file (ai)

Once a contest is over you can work with the designer to provide additional file formats so if you wanted a non vector version ie photoshop I am sure he/she will accommodate.

Hi Scott- probably a little late at this point , but some of the submissions I've received appear to be from some sort of logo generator site--- as I'm receiving Duplicate logos submissions from different artists. I've tried googling to see where they could have come from. The submissions I am referring to are not based on inspiration images I attached- so that's not where the duplication came from .
I though the bulk vector was the right term to refer to "buy a bunch of logo templates" & modify them to suit my brand. Sorry, not aware of the correct lingo. :(

Yes, you will see similar ideas especially in the open phase which is blind, meaning designers cannot see each other work. This does not mean designers are copying on e another it's they came up with the same idea.

When the contest enters the Finalist Phase (which is where we are now) all submission are visible to designers and only you top 5 ranked designers can continue, during this phase input may slow down depends on feedback and who has different ideas. You can shuffle designers around in Finalist Phase if you feel a lower ranked designer has more potential.
