What We Do
I help high school students find their 'best match' college, put together a strong college application, and prepare to have a successful college experience.

Color Preferences
Please no gray or brown. Black only for very small elements. I don't envision primary colors, but bold 'variations' (for lack of a better term.) For example the Skype 'blue' is a strong blue, but not primary blue.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I really wanted "College by Design" to be the actual name of the business, but a state regulation prohibits the use of the word "college" in a registered business name. While "Cynthia Jenkins Consulting" is my official registered name, I want the focus to be all about College by Design. Perhaps the business name can be very small relative to the College by Design logo. I have an additional tagline: 'Expert guidance for creating your college path' - I would like to see if this could be worked in without cluttering the logo. Perhaps some versions with it, and some without would be helpful. I would like the essence of it to be engaging, but not 'cutesy' - to appeal to high school students and their parents as a professional, but not staid, business. The logo will provide the basis for the look and feel of my website.

I would like "College by Design" to be the prominent phrase seen in all designs, with Cynthia Jenkins Consulting almost appearing more like the tag line. In designs #1, #2, and #3, I would like to see College by Design to the scale that Cynthia Jenkins is and the tagline underneath as it is. Then 'Cynthia Jenkins Consulting' could be the fine print at the bottom.

My favorite 'style' of the first three is #3 - I like the 'whimsical' figure
Design #1 is my second favorite - I would like to see it with 'College by Design' and 'Cynthia Jenkins' switched.

#2 is too 'busy' for what I am envisioning, but conceptually - the two grads around the globe - is a neat message.

Thanks for a great start!

The blues are good, but I might prefer a few more colors.

The new version that is now ranked #1 is better with 'College by Design' featured prominently, but the business name has to there somewhere - perhaps very small above College by Design? The #3 design is interesting, but the curves seem to 'clash' with the strong straight lines above and below College by Design - maybe they aren't necessary or there's another way to present the words relative to the image.

I would also like to see some 'abstract' design features - perhaps playing on the notion of a pathway or just the idea of 'design' itself - something eye catching, interesting, simple, but not a concrete image of something related to college, graduation, etc.

More color too please. I would like to have a set of several colors that create a color palette that will work well with a website.

Thank you!

Feedback on a variety of favorite elements:

I like the colors in #39, but don't like the three different colored words.

I love the font in #37! It captures the 'feel' that I want.

I like the arrangement of the different elements (word phrases) in #15

I'm very pleased with all the designs - this is becoming very difficult (Thank you!!)
