Croatia DiscoveredLogo Design Contest

Choptop, I do not like #2. it reminds me of a face off between the USSR and the USA. Maybe even Rocky IV.

#3 Is far better. But the word discovered is completely lost in the logo. Can you change it to create more of an equal pairing between the two words.

I am not saying that I definitely want an equal pairing between the words. But in this submission, I do.

#5 and #6 I found these designs to be a bit too much. There is just too much going on and they look a little confusing. Could you possibly try decreasing the size of the shield and removing the outline of the country from the shield. Possibly placing the CD inside of the shield or on either side of it???

Could you possibly remove the shield and flank the country outline with CD?

I love the font on #8 for the word Croatia. It pops so well! I am not so sure I like the word discovered so small.

In regards to the directional signs. I am completely undecided what I think about them. Part of me loves it and part of me doesn't.

In general, there is just something about this logo that is sooo very catchy, something that says look at me, something that makes you not forget it.

I would love to see what other ideas you have!!!

#23 I really like the use of the O in Croatia as a design like that. Although, I am not sold on the design that you choose. Do you have any other ideas with incorporating a design with the letter O???

Just to let you all know, anything currently ranked in the top 12 can easily take the first position by the end of this contest. The top 12 are my current favorites and the ranking within those places could easily change by the end of the contest.

To all of the last minute entries, i would prefer if the word "croatia" is not completely dominate over the word "discovered". I would prefer if the words were of equal size OR if "croatia" was somewhat larger than "discovered". What i do not want is for there to be a huge size diffrenece. I just do not want the word "discovered" to be lost in the image.

To everyone who submitted designs, I want to thank you for all of the hard work that you put into this contest. Making the final decision was tough, as there were many excellent submissions.

I did enlist the help of friends and colleagues to help me to ensure that the correct logo for my company was picked. Based on their feedback and my own opinions, the ranking is as follows: client ranked positions 1st thru 9th are accurate. Client ranked positions 10th thru 17th should all be ranked number 10. I had an impossible time deciding which of these 8 entries should take the 10th place position. Everything ranked 18th thru 33rd were all considered as a possible logo for the company during the judging process, and are currently not ranked in any particular order.
