Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

Example #2 - We like the gray/silver on black. Could you attempt to incorporate green (CMYK is included in the brief)? Could you also attempt to incorporate a tool that represents large commercial construction?

Example #4 - Good use of design/color. Can you consider making the abstract part of the logo (left-hand side) something that is more representational of large commercial construction.

Example #14 - Can you use green instead of red? Can you also consider incorporating a crane?

Example #11 - Like the gray on black. Can the abstract designs in the background be more representational of construction? The same can be applied to #9 and #10. Also, if you use a color, can you please incorporate green?

Examples #12, #13 and #16 - Can you incorporate a crane and green as opposed to the blue and abstract elements? The logos are really good, they are just not applicable to the size of the projects Costello Contruction creates.

Examples #7, #7 - Please consider a more masculine, sans-serif font. Also, maybe try arranging the "c"s in a different way to create a more dynamic arrangement.

All - Thanks for the new submissions. All in all, we are getting much closer. I still want everyone to keep in mind that we need a logo that is representative of large scale construction, however we do not want the logo to be completely representational. An abstracted form is ok.
