#43, #45 are good ideas.... I'd like to see some other font options. Keep playing with the ideas for the cube.. I think you might be able to come up with something great.

Please stay away from use of gradients, transparency, reflection, or shadows..
I don't need the logo to have a sense of 3D depth.. It should capture some essence of the orignal cube, but in a very clean and 2D way.. How to do this seems to be the real challenge.

I like where you are going with #394.. Can I see a version where the core symbol colors go from red to black to a red dot/square in the middle.

Can I see #146 with a circle in the middle instead of the triangle?

Also can I see a version of #394 with the center red and the outer (tiny bits) in red too... So that only the middle layer of the symbol is black?

thanks for your recent designs... but so far it looks like the simplicity of #146 seems to work better than the others.. feel free to keep submitting any additional ideas you might come up with, but so far that one is our favorite.

My apologize I have to withdraw my first rank, it is because another designer claim that play button inside the letter "O" is her concept.

Part of the rules of the contest state the following "...Concepts that are considered obvious will also be fair game, for example: a dog & cat for a pet hospital, shopping bag for an e-commerce company, a tooth for a dentist, initials for a lawyer, etc."

Since Core Studios is a company that produces video and animation, it seems fairly obvious that anyone could integrate a play symbol into the design... And many other designers have. It doesn't seem right to you or myself that you'd have to withdraw the design that was mostly likely to be chosen as the winner based on those grounds..

Yes, the play button is common for video animation, he only claim when the play button put inside the letter "O".
You can ask this issue to the staff of Logo tournament. If they agree and no more issue for me I will reinstead my design.
