I like 4,5,6. Out of those #5 is probably my favorite.
But it still doesn't have that wow factor... it needs to be memorable.

Plus I'd really like to see some options where the square has a closer resemblance to the original cube on the old logo.. I'm not sure what that would look like... but I'm hoping there is an awesome design solution for pulling the essence of the 3D cube into a 2D representation that feels clean and sharp.

Thanks.

are you able to offer any additional ideas? I like to see some other variations of #106 if possible.

I've been notified that another designer has had to withdraw their design because you claimed rights to the concept of using a PLAY symbol in the letters. I am currently arguing this with the support team because the rules specifically state the following:

"...Concepts that are considered obvious will also be fair game, for example: a dog & cat for a pet hospital, shopping bag for an e-commerce company, a tooth for a dentist, initials for a lawyer, etc."

Since Core Studios is a video production company, the use of the PLAY symbol in the design is a fairly obvious one. Additionally, I specifically asked in the creative direction that use of such symbols not be used overtly since it would seem cliche'. Your use of the symbol was very overt and did not follow the creative direction. The other designer's use of it was very subtle and a much better design overall. I picked it because it was the design that best represented what I was looking for.. not because it was the only one to use the PLAY symbol.. there were MANY designers who submitted logos with a PLAY symbol..

It doesn't seem right for you to try to remove a designer's winning design right before the end of the contest.
