Great entries so far - I love seeing all your creations! Just make sure all three words "Cooking Contest Central" are easy to read.

I like the creativity of doing something with the "o" of cooking. A pan, egg yolk, stove top burner, etc... is interesting.

Keep those great submissions coming! I would like to see a few more clean and clear options if you have ideas to share.

I think there are enough options using the egg image. I would love to see some new ideas and options in the final stretch! Simple and clean with a little hint of creativity and innovation is the key.

Congratulations to our top finalists! A few more thoughts as we move forward:

Again, please make sure all three words "Cooking Contest Central" are clearly visible.
I think I want to avoid any images with money/dollar bills, blue ribbons, or trophies.
Incorporating cooking utensils seems to be working well, so feel free to continue with those concepts and get creative!
I like options with chefs hats, but don't feel limited to chef wear. Maybe something with aprons as well?
Overall I am not looking for an overly detailed logo or one that is too busy. I am drawn to elements that are elegant and sophisticated while still evoking a feeling of fun and happiness.
As for colors I seem to gravitate toward darker greens, darker blues, and reds. I would say to avoid browns, pinks, or purples.

The cooking contests on this website are not state fairs or small town events. They are nationwide and serious business! The grand prize in one of them is $1,000,000...and that's not small potatoes :)
