#1 I like the simplicity, but the base clef is a little weird in the middle and its a little too much like a base clef. In other words, it would be better if it were more abstract.

#5 This is the best one so far. I like the look of the lightbulb, but I was thinking that they bulb and the base clef would be merged together so that the bulb and the clef were the same thing. Right now, they are sort of two separate ideas.

#6 We also like the way that the slogan is positioned under the "Thought Ensemble"

#9, #15 and #5 We like where these are headed, but we're having some problems. Too many people we've shown them to think it looks like "an ear with hair on it" or a "question mark." Neither of those are good images. If we can get away from that and still keep this idea, we'd like to, but we may need to abandon the base clef/light bulb image. Other subtle, sleak musical images could be good ideas. Other thought ideas are also good. One other thing, we like that they logos are not "cartoony"

#4 We like that you are breaking out of the idea we had, but it looks a bit too cartoony now. I'm not sure we'll ever want the face part, but we like the experimentation. We like the little shadow under the logo. We also like the simplicity of the font, although the break up of the slogan around the "g" from Thou"g"ht is a bit unbalanced.

#9 We like the creativity. Keep going in that direction. I'm not too sure about the brain in there. Can you play off of the thought and the ensemble idea? Something about teamwork. Working together. Collaboration. A jazz ensemble? A group coming together?

#22 and #23: Too mean looking. Not the image we're going for.

#9, #15, #20, #5, #6 While these are all OK, I think we need to abandon the idea of the lightbulb with the clef. Let's open it back up to all creative ideas.

#9. Can we see this with more little light lines going around instead of just to one side?

It would be interesting to try some other musical shapes, as long as they are abstract, almost so abstract it isn't easily apparent that it is music. For example, an eighth note.

So far, the best text is probably #9, especially like the combination of grey and black. The best design is probably #36 without the 2nd (outside) arc and with the arc having the same curve as the clef. #36 would also be better if the clef looked a little less like a clef, more like #9 without the bottom. And not sure about red, although there it is an interesting idea.

#9, this still looks a little bit like hair coming off the side. Can you put the "light lines" around the entire top part of the design.

We're still open to new ideas . . . nothing has completely grabbed us, but some combination of #9 (best font and best relationship of graphic size to text size) and #43 (the graphic is appealing, but needs to come together more. It looks like two separate graphics right now, I don't like the red. It would still look better if the shape were a bit more like #9.)

We would like to find some more options as well.

Keep 'em coming.

#43 Can we see a version of yours in grayscale and with a font similar to 46?

#79. Can we see that with a smaller graphic. The logo overpowers the text.

#80. We really like the idea, but can you make it tighter? The clefs don't quite seem to come together. They overlap oddly. It seems everyone touches each other differently. We still like best the font on #45.

#85 Better, but still some of the tips of the cleffs seem to end in different places than others. Can you tighten it up a bit more? Also, can you show an example where the colors stay the same instead of shifting grayscale. The font doesn't render quite as well as #45. Can you try some other fonts?

#91 We like where this is going, but its still really busy. Can you simplify? Maybe only three of the cleffs or streamline them in some way. The font in #45 is still better.

#89 We like this, but with a font similar to 45 and with the tag line as in 45 (after the "g"). Also, the picture is a bit too feminine.

#79 we would like to see a version with a smaller picture and with a serif font like #45
15 years ago

#98. This one looks really good. Can you make the graphic a little smaller? We like the way it sits over the "T", so that would probably mean it wouldn't line up with the bottom of "Thought" anymore, but that might be ok.

#94 Very interesting and creative. We really like the concept, but it should be a bit more abstract. Can you make more abstract people? Also, we still like a little bit more old-fashioned fonts like those in #98.

107 Would like to see it rotated 45 and 90 degrees. I'd also be interested in 105 with just the top and bottom clefs stacked on top of each other (this would be like 107 but reversed clefs)

We still like 116 and 127 best... but we are interested in variations on font (maybe a little more modern) and color (perhaps purple). Perhaps they are a little too conservative, and we want just a bit more edge since we are really innovative ...

A couple more ideas on color. We'd like a combination of silver (for technology) and blue (like the sky, for new ideas). Or slate and navy. Or a deep purple and black. I think we still like 116 and 127 best, although I am going to do another ranking with the whole team tomorrow and see if any others jump out.

#116 and #160. This is definitely shaping up. Can we see a version with the colors of #160 but with the font of #116? Feel free to play with other colors as well, perhaps other shades of blue? We like this one.

#206. Can we see this with a darker grey so that we don't loose the "Ensemble" word? Also, can you experiment with the font. Perhaps something with a serif but that is a bit less conservative, a bit more weighty. It looks a bit like a typewriter font right now.

#206. Can we see something on the graphic that is a bit more substantial, perhaps a shadow like #225? That one looks a bit more professional.

#225. We really like this one, can you play around with the colors and font a bit?

#227 We are liking this one alot. Can we see a variation where the graphic is to the left of the text and the whole logo is less tall (ie, something that could be used in the footer of a powerpoint page which needs to not take up too much vertical room.)

#225. We also like this font the best of the fonts you're playing with.

#226 Can you do a version without the tagline? Remove "Practical Insight. Moving Performance."

#227 Can you remove some of the space between "Thought" and "Ensemble"

#226 We like the font of #226, with the "practical insight. moving performance" on the same line as 254. We're still not sure about the color. A bit more blue, (vs. green/teal) but we like the slightly darker color.
