I'll try and be a bit more adventurous in my next entry! - feedback welcome.(This comment references Entry #1) 14 years ago Hein Client Of these initial entries I probably like #3 best. The Typeface is more contemporary and it reads more easily. #2 and #1 are a bit too conservative although I quite like how you've split the colours between 'Hein' and 'Sight' on #2. Not sure what to think of the icon as I can't tell what it's trying to depict. 14 years ago husk Logo Designer Let me know if you think this is too literal.(This comment references Entry #4) 14 years ago Hein Client Sorry Husk but #4 says optician to me. 14 years ago husk Logo Designer The symbol is both an 'H' and an 'I'(This comment references Entry #7) 14 years ago Hein Client Wow! As my ranking indicates, I'm in two minds. I actually like the 3 dimensional nature of the last two submissions but the simplicity of the #7. I did not get that 'h' and 'I' were represented - too clever for me obviously. 14 years ago Hein Client I swapped #2 and #7 over because I still like the balance and elegance you achieved with #2 even of it does remind me of the wrong thing! Best wishes H 14 years ago husk Logo Designer Made up of tilted H / I with the negative space highlighted in green to indicate looking beyond.(This comment references Entry #28) 14 years ago Hein Client Hi Husk#96I like the glossy globe with lat/longitude lines - looks very classy. Not sure about the green streak with stars. Does it need it? Can you think of anything else that could sit in it? I appreciate that transfer of knowledge/experience is a very difficult subject to convey in a logo but any further ideas are welcome. You've come up with some of my favourite ideas so far, don't give up yet!Best wishesHein 14 years ago husk Logo Designer thanks :) - I'll give it a shot ...(This comment references Entry #115) 14 years ago Hein Client Does #115 even need an H/I?Typeface looks a bit insubstantial now too. Ir went well with #28 but may need something slightly bolder for the globe.ThanksHein 14 years ago Hein Client Thinking more about the simple purple globe(or blue as in #27) without the 'H' the more I like it & would probably beat the current top ranked logos.By the way, my wife thinks the typeface is fine as it stands but a couple of variations would be appreciated either way.RegardsHein 14 years ago husk Logo Designer something along these lines ? - I'll upload some variations too ... thanks for the continued feedback(This comment references Entry #131) 14 years ago husk Logo Designer on an axis(This comment references Entry #133) 14 years ago Hein Client See ranking!I didn't go for the bold typeface #132No sure what you meant by last comment re: #133I alctually like #135 best but it doesn't photocopy well in black and white (you lose the lines) - could make the dotted lines thicker.#134 is ranked top for the opposite reason although it is less subtleI've also ranked #131 because the upright globe seems more alert (may be worth a try with thicker lines)I still like your colour choice in #27 - may be worth a punt.Still unsure about the typeface and choice of black as second colour (black comes out stronger when photocopying making 'Sight' the dominant word). Entry #2 shows better contrast but I suspect grey would look very weak in such a thin font.Other than that they're perfect! 14 years ago husk Logo Designer the bluer version as requested, I'll take a look at the text now.(This comment references Entry #158) 14 years ago
