A key part of that is the treatment of the ambulance in the logo. In our current logo (which has been uploaded and can also be seen at www.caas.org), the ambulance graphic is outdated because it looks more like a van than a modern ambulance, which these days is a more sophisticated vehicle. We have uploaded several pictures of more modern looking ambulances as reference. We are an accrediatation body and ambulance service providers go through an extremely rigourous process to earn our certification. Once earned, our accredited agencies get to put our logo on their ambulances, which then signifies to the local community that this ambulance provider meets the highest standards in the industry. We look forward to everyone's ideas and promise to provide frequent feedback.Regards,Brett 12 years ago bwangostar Client Designers,Early feedback on some of the entries. We like the "modern" feel from #5 but are not wild about the color scheme or the fact that the "swoosh" element obscures the ambulance. On #10, we like how the ambulance is a little more dynamic in the way it is oriented versus a flatter side view.Keep them coming!Brett 12 years ago bwangostar Client First of all, thank you to all have contributed so far.As you can see by the rankings, we are drawn to logos that have a modern feel, and that can find a comfortable balance between our four main elements: (1) Our acronym - CAAS (2) Our full organization name - Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (3) Some depiction of a modern ambulance with a strong preference to showing motion(4) the word Accredited And, as stated, we have a relatively strong brand recognition in our industry (mainly U.S.) for our current color scheme.I look forward to more submissions before we move to the Top 5 phase.Regards,Brett 12 years ago
