Baron: "Nobility" logo displaying nobility and rank as in old english times, through the family coat-of-arms. concept is to create the Cliff Baron Brewery coat of arms to display it's rank among other beers.
If you want to go down the coat of arms avenue that is fine. But eveyrthing shown in a coat of arms has symbolic meaning. Symbols, shapes, arangements, and colors all have their own specific meaning, and even then it depends on country of origin. If this is the way you want to go I would do some research on these symbols and come back to me with what you feel the coat of arms should say. Style counts for a lot, but like the beer, we believe in substance. If we have a coat of arms it has to stand for something.
Definitly closer to where eveyone else seems to be heading with their designs. #30 is striking, and even eye catching. We need to cross over into iconic. The image seems a little flat to me, perhaps you can try adding more depth to the colors. You can also remove the word lager.
new designs have an 'antiqued' eagle, to mimmock the erroded font tyle in the 'Cliff Baron' title and create depth and texture. this 'antiquing' paired with the eagle clutching two swords is an attempt to create an iconography branding for Cliff Baron Brewery.
Thank you for all your hard work. You really came back strong with a few beautiful logos. We decided to go with another design, but I was really pleased with your final submissions. Keep up the good work.
thank you, I appreciate it! it was wa fun contest. now if you'll excuse me I need to go grab some Cliff Baron and drown my sorrows. haha kidding. Best of luck to you and the brewery!
