What We Do
ClearEdge is an experienced software engineering firm focusing on providing "Big Information Technology" (e.g., cloud computing, verylarge database technology) solutions to the Ingelligence Community in the way of full system design and integration.

Color Preferences
Most of our competitors use a red and blue in their logos to represent their support to the U.S. government. We do not want those colors -- we want to stand out as a different kind of company. We are high tech and modern, yet professional and have been working with the government for a very long time. Currently, we use a dark green to indicate growth and success. Green is still a good choice, but may not be as modern as it could be.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We have employed three different designers who have all used the capital letters of ClearEdge in a graphic design. We are not so interested in using acronyms and would prefer that the name be used at all times. We have also seen designs that utilize a diamond shape to literally represent 'clear' and 'edge'. Concept is okay, but we are open to other ideas.

Our current tagline is "Our people give us the edge", but we are considering changing it to something about fusing the right people and the right technology. Hope that provides some help to the designers.

Logo Designer
Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion.
~~ When you provide feedback to designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested." We'd like to know what you don't want so we can give you the design you do want.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ The first phase of the contest is the "Open" phase, and everyone can submit during that time.
~~ After your contest's initial "Open" phase closes, it will enter the "Top 5" phase; only the top 5 ranked designers will be able to submit revisions at that time.
~~ The "Top 5" designers are the first 5 designers in a contest, not the first 5 designs.
~~ When "Top 5" ends, the "Judging" phase begins. The designer of the 1st place design will be the only designer who can submit revisions at that time.

Thanks to everyone who has submitted a design. I am seeing a lot of round logomarks and wondered if anyone could do something with sharper edges that are more geometric.
