Just some feedback again - I lean strongly toward EASTERN ZEN or ITALIAN RENAISSANCE influences in the graphic portions of these logos.
GREAT submissions so far.
Here's what I'm selecting based on...
(1) Typography - this is KEY... without awesome typography, the graphic is lost. Weight, balance, kerning and those little details in your font selection (or original font creation) don't miss my eye.
(2) Balance - there needs to be a flow between the graphic elements and the typography...
(3) Color - this can be most easily adjusted but light, airy colors will not stand out as much as stable, commanding color choices.
(4) Definition of the abstract - If there is an abstract artform in the logo or within the typography, I should be able to explain what it is. Even if it is an abstract reference to something - it should be identifiable to some element or theme...
(5) Here are some themes that reflect my brand - I practice multiple spiritual practices, but Buddhism is a key influence, I smoke hookah ... a lot, I make people a LOT of money but do it in a VERY casual way, I chill out with them a LOT.
Hope these things help you in your development. You are all doing AMAZING work!
Again a reminder - if you want to submit on my OTHER active contest, you can do so at
