Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ When you provide feedback to designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion.
~~ Please note: if you are asking for a design that will require several hours to create, to attract designers willing to invest that amount of time the prize should be at least $400-$500. All "Character" style logos fall into this category.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested." We'd like to know what you don't want so we can give you the design you do want.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ The first phase of the contest is the "Open" phase, and everyone can submit during that time.
~~ After your contest's initial "Open" phase closes, it will enter the "Top 5" phase; only the top 5 ranked designers will be able to submit revisions at that time.
~~ The "Top 5" designers are the first 5 designers in a contest, not the first 5 designs.
~~ When "Top 5" ends, the "Judging" phase begins. The designer of the 1st place design will be the only designer who can submit revisions at that time.

1. a little more elegance needed; a modern day Cavewoman makes these bars
2. I don't think I like orange; red is better
3. a little more yoga, a little less gym rat

Hi designers! I will be back at my desk in an hr. Or so for ranking. Sorry for the horrible typoss. Logotournament is not very mobile friendly and it is really hard to comment and edit. Just to let you know the kinds of fruits and nuts we use in our bars, in case you'd like to incorporate them in your designs, here's a list: dates, pineapple, cherries, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, almonds, cashews, pecans, peanuts, pistachios, and walnuts. Now, I'd really like to see what you come up with organically, so don't feel like you hhave to be literal. What do you think of when you hear about raw, organic food? Getting back to to whole foods like the ones gathered by our ancestors? I have a quirky sense of humor, so if you do as well, do t be affrid to be humourus. I make seriously healthy food but with fun, familiar flavors. Thanks!

Good evening designers,

One of you asked me if the logo must be able to fit on a bar package. The answer is yes. I would like the logos to be flexible enough to be 2" high for a bar package and look great on my website and t-shirts. If that is something you don't think is possible, please let me know.

Something to think about: Cavewomen gather natural products -- fruit, nuts, twigs, stones, leaves...

Totally forgot to mention, Cavewoman Bars is a registered trademark. Please add symbol to logos, thanks!

Keep up the good work, designers! I'd love to see some more Cavewoman silhouettes or figures with with some movement. Maybe the Cavewoman can be gathering in a basket or picking from a tree. Something to draw the customer in. It could all be in the eyes. who knows? Maybe a headshot in an oval or something that looks like it could be make into a stamp?

Just so everyone know the registered trademark symbol is ®. It needs to go after the word Bars in small print. It is OK if you don't have it in your designs yet, I just didn't want to forget to tell you in the future as it is a very important element.

It's crunch time, designers! I am really excited to see what you come up with in the next 21 hours. Think fonts! Think naturally beautiful! Think stop you in your tracks 'cause, gosh darn, that is really gorgeous! :-)))

Designers, you guys are doing such a great job! I really appreciate your creativity and ability to communicate with me through your art. I am quite the perfectionist, so the fact that I actually have designs that I like a lot already is saying a lot. As we have less than a day to go, if you think of something that is totally out of the box please feel free to submit it. You never know, it could be the winner! Good luck!

There were so many wonderful designs that I may purchase some of your work to use as art at a later time. Please know that my colleagues, friends and family loved many of your designs as well, which made my final decision a difficult one.
