entry #5 not bad maybe the CDS font and the wavy banner are a little too playful/cartoon-like and not serious/old established enough looking. Maybe take a look at Harvard Universities logo/coat of arms
I reworked the banner to look less playful and cartoony. I also scaled back the colors of the logo because the the rich colors I was using, it made it seem playful.
After reviewing the Harvard logo, I noticed that they use just Red, Yellow, Black and White.
sorry changed the scope of the project a little... the Board of Trustees wants us to focus on CDS Prep as the logo/name and the tagline International Baccalaureate. Thanks!
I really like #13 but needs to have Prep as part of the name (more prominent). Maybe scrap the oak leaf and add our eagle mascot? Can you try putting the IB logo inside the shield? Also maybe try CDS Prep over/on top or overlapping the shield?
Also like entry #10 alot. Try solid black instead of gray/black for #10, making shield outline thinner.
#18 can u try replacing the leaf with our eagle mascot?
No leafs in any logos please.
Please feel free to try some of your own new ideas as well Not all have to have shields.
Mike, Can u try the wording CDS PREP of entry #16 but put the shield of entry #13. Maybe the CDS Prep stacked like #16 then put the shield next to CDS PREP (to the left) and the same overall height as the stacked words. This will make CDS Prep prominent and readable and the shield will be smaller more like an accent to the words.
LAstly would like to try the above with International Baccalaureate more readable... maybe stack those 2 words as well? Or try the above suggestions but use your own ideas on how to make int'l B more readable /prominent.
Nice. On #39 can you try making the badge/shiled a littel smaller (maybe match the CDS Prep size and then have Internatioanl BAccauraiate under both the badge and the CDs Prep)? This will make badge shield a littel smaller so CDS Prep can be the dominant part of the logo and it will also give more room for the International BAccalauriate. Maybe try Int' B in one line and stacked on 2 lines, going along complete bottom edge of logo and only going underneath text.
I would like to add some vines/ivy to the logo that I've created, but I'm afraid that I cannot now because I just noticed one of the other logo contestants entered a logo with vines/ivy on their logo with a shield and I could potentially be in violation of "copying" their design.
