I was working in this dog for another contest but the contest holder was not interested, so i withdrawn all my entries there.
The face looks like a beagle, i was trying to draw a bigger dog. I hope you like it

Rammm-
We do like this logo- what is your general opinion for the colors? I know we requested the colors involved, but do you think the green would wash out? Also, the tail looks like a pointer. I wonder if you could somehow make it look more like an uncropped, curved tail without throwing off the balance of the design. We really like the head of this dog, and we think the white outline of the ears is going to be essential in defining the drop ears. Do you have any other suggestions for the same design but in different compositions? We like the simplicity.

This is a little revision of the original concept, i raised the head a little, and added the tail, the colors in the first design can be compromised in certain backgrounds, this is darker and more consistent.

I'll try some other layouts. I hope you like it.

Remember use the rank system to select your favorites, that's the way we earn points, Thanks.

Using the same colors as the first, in a different way. I think the white dog looks better.

We agree- the white dog is better. Can we lighten the blue a little bit? Your point about backgrounds is good- we are thinking about how the embroidery will show up against different colors. Do you think a similar combination of blue/green would work better? Thanks for being so helpful (we ranked you first!)

We can't decide whether we like the rectangular look of the background in #11. Do you think if we outlined the green Carolina in #10 with a navy it would become illegible? We also really like the green in #11 and would like to see it used with #10.

This combination works well, i set the green a little stronger so it wont lose strenght beside the blue, and i was tinking you can use both ways, this with white background and instead of using a rectangle around, use a whole blue background where you require it.

Like this.
I'm not 100% sure about the font, tomorrow i'll be thinking about that and we can tweak the results into your perfect logo, i'll be more than happy to make any changes you need and to give you my proffessional advice where i consider appropriate.

Thank you

This font looks way better, and the colors are good too. You really need the state shape in the logo? becuse i think it's an unnecesary graphic part since you will be making your announces within the state?

We really like #31! Could you make the sitting dog a little more upright? He seems a bit slouched over and would like him to look a little more perky and happy to be there. Maybe even try having one paw slightly lifted as if he was shaking hands or "high five". What would it look like if he was "resting" his paw on the C in Carolina? If nothing else, we would need his back to be more straight.

Thanks!

More straight back, raise head and i put his paw in the canine c, tried to put it higher but it looks funny, not natural

We like this dog a lot more. Is there any way you can make the leg bend at the "wrist" in order to get it up on the Carolina C? Even if you have to make the font a little bit smaller?
Thanks

We really like both #42 and #52. Is there any way you can bend the leg similar to the way it is bent in #29 (instead of bending it far down on the foot) to make it go a little higher on the "C"?

We also like the font but the CANINE TRAINING looks really small and is hard to read. Can you make it bigger - even if you need to make the Carolina shorter/smaller. It would be ok with us if the logo has to be longer to make the font size correct.

Thanks!!

We like the direction this is going. Now that the font size is different can you place the foot on the "C" in Canine like you did in #42 (keeping the font size/placement the exact same as in #67? If you can do that, can you bend the leg a little higher on the wrist? (Similar to the bend in the "pointing dog" we used in #9. Reason for this is that #42 seems like the leg that is propped up on the C is shorter than the leg on the ground.

Similar to the dogs leg someone just posted in #68 - just a little higher and propped on the C

We're getting there. Can you keep the font the exact same as #67 and just place the dogs foot in #76 down on the C in Canine but keep the leg bent?

This is looking up, I hope i can get to what you mean, my model here is not helping too much now, hehe, it´s a chihuahua, and she is also crippled... I think it still look natural.

Ha - we're getting closer. If you can put the paw down on the C - as if the pads of his paw are resting on the top of the C. I'll try to find a picture and send it your way. (Like he is taking his first step to walk on top of the word)
