Caboose is a spin off of another, larger band, Memphis Train Revue. I want the logo to be unique but easily identifiable with the Memphis Train Revue logo so that it is clear the bands are related and so the goodwill of Memphis Train Revue transfers to Caboose. Whether that is done through colors, styles, fonts, etc. is up to the designer. (See Memphis Train Revue logo.)

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

Yayuk (#1, #2), Thank you for the submissions! Can you try it with the tag line ("The Ultimate in R&B and Classic Soul") removed? That tag line is for a different, albeit related, band. Thanks!

Thank you all for the designs. (#1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, #10, #11, #12, #13) You've created some cool concepts. Unfortunately, while the image for the Caboose logo needs to be reminiscent of the Memphis Train Revue logo, it can not contain the same image, nor the same tag line ("The Ultimate in R&B and Classic Soul") for fear of confusing the two groups. What I would like to see is a caboose in place of the locomotive imagery. Please resubmit with these changes. Thanks!

Consistent with the brief update, I am not interested in logos that have either the same image as the Memphis Train Revue logo or the same tag line. I have marked as "uninterested" those that contain both, but would entertain reworks of these submissions with a new image (caboose) and tag line removed. This band is a smaller spinoff (5-pieces) from the larger Memphis Train Revue (10-pieces) and is designed to be more nimble. That should be clear in the logo when compared to the Memphis Train Revue logo.

#33 and #36, can you make the caboose a little more rockin? I think it needs some more energy to it and needs to look more fun. Love the designs, but they feel a little too New England to me. Need a little more stank on 'em if you know what I mean. More grit, less formal. Thanks!

#22 - Is there a way to make the logo less busy and more simple? I really like the playful feel of it, but there is so much going on that I 'm afraid it will cost a fortune for embroidery and other uses.
