What We Do
Butternut Chase is a recently restored private residence built in 1914 that is expected to play host to numerous social events, and its name comes from the butternut trees (similar to walnut) that surround the estate.

Color Preferences
Open to green as a theme as the residence has a prominent green tiled roof that stands out as a defining feature... as well as the theme of the butternut trees. Open to many other ideas as well including simple monochromatic.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
The original owner was an automotive supplier named Beaudette. Attached are images of the home that may provide inspiration. Some initial thoughts range from a line image of the home in some level of reduced detail to an image of the butternut tree or butternut leaves, pods and blooms, which also are carved in limestone on the main fireplace.

Discussion

I am liking all the entries so far and while I said in the brief that the logo should be inviting, I am interested in seeing some more formal, stately versions as well and some perhaps that play off the shape of the house.

These entries all are looking fantastic. I love the image of the home and I also love the architectural element of the limestone fireplace butternut carving turned into a simple element. Having seen the assortment, I am leaning toward logos that reflect the full architecture. I could see potentially using both the full home image version and the simple iconic symbol in different applications. Thanks so much for the creative genius here.
