Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design -- designers will receive an email of your comment and can respond directly.
~~ When you provide feedback to designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!

Hello,

Many thanks to everyone for these entries.

So far, just some general feedback for everyone: feel free to do something completely different from the current logo. There is no requirement to keep the "swooshes".

The only constraint is to keep the same color scheme, and you may also experiment with slightly different shades of green.

I will start giving more personal, one on one feedback at the end of the day today.

Thank you.

Hello to all,

Many thanks for all the entries today. Just some general feedback for everyone after day 1...

Let's see some more Wordmark and Web 2.0 type logos. Most of the entries are Pictorial Mark so far. It is very likely that a SIMPLE yet powerful and effective design will win in the end.

I would also like to see more experimentation with different fonts. So far, a lot of the logos use the same 2 or 3 types of fonts. The choice of an adequate font will also be a determining factor. It needs to be "not too round, not too square". In other words, no Eurostyle or Neuropol type font, but something that suggests technology in a subtle way. The rounder fonts used in many designs do work nicely and we may go with something like that in the end, but it is still early in the contest and I would love to see more variety.

Also, please keep in mind the "business to technology translation" concept we are trying to communicate for any future designs.

It is night time here in France, so I will rank and comment again tomorrow morning.

Thank you and keep up the great work !

Hi dije,

There is no set value. But around #76A24B will work. Other designers have used variations and I'm fine with that. We can always tweak the color at the end.

For now, I'm really interested in seeing new and surprising concepts.

To all designers: very busy day today, so unfortunatelty no time to give written feedback right now. I will rank periodically throughout the day, and will give each one more detailed feedback tonight.

Thank you.

Hello to all,

Sorry I could not comment last night. I just gave some of you some specific feedback.

After day 2, it's nice to see new things, but overall, I'll say it again: something simple and sober will probably win. The logo really needs to have an "enterprise level" feel to it.

Remember these things we're trying to communicate and some more keywords / ideas:

- Historically, we posses strong experience in the follwing areas: E-commerce, Social Networks, Business Analysis and reporting systems.
- Our ability to correctly perceive, understand and translate business reality into software
- We do not need people to tell us in details what the web solution should look like or how it should work. They can just tell us their business objectives in simlple words and we imagine the rest, usually beyond what they even thought was possible. "Alchemy" might be another interesting keyword.
- Our ability to imagine mechanisms and interactions between functional areas: "drawing lines" between points, connecting different realities
- Crystalizing things
- Reflection / mirror: what comes out is a real reflection of the business needs.

Also, the concept of reliability / trust / solid / enterprise level is very important. Hence the fact that in the end, something simple yet powerful will probably win.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen,

Thank you so much for a great third day. We are starting to see some really exciting designs !

As you have noticed, and as I have said in the past: the right mix of simplicity and power will win this one. Great font work is one of the keys. That and the little iconic detail that will differentiate your design from the others.

Again, for anyone who just joined the contest, I'll say here again exactly what I told one of the designers: We are looking for something that really expresses the art of transforming business reality into concrete technology. Something simple, yet effective and sexy.

Thank you.

Best,

David

Dear designers,

Yes, I know... we ended the contest early. At this point, with over 270 submissions, it is already more than enough for us to go through and make a decision.

Many thanks for everyone's hard work. We will be re-ranking all the entries over the week-end and will announce the winner by Monday at the latest.

We are extremely pleased with the results of this contest and, again, we wish to extend our most sincere apprecition and thanks to everyone who participated.

We will be back with an even more exciting project in a few months, this time with a $1000 prize... So don't go anywhere, stay on LogoTournament ! ;-)

Best,

To all designers,

Many thanks for your participation and great work. In particular, I would like to thank the designers which have really greatly contributed such as ModernDesign, rafa17, PonetzGraphics, Trinova, BluHat, zerin74, waveman777, logostudio...

Again, I apologize for ending it early and skipping the top 5 phase, but I just fell in love with ysonmez's design and had pretty much made my decision yesterday already. The feedback I got from friends and associates confirmed this, so I did not want to waste anyone's time.

I'll have another contest next year for a high-level start-up project we're working on. The prize will be $1000 and it will be a very fun and exciting contest. So anyone interested, please send me a PM so I have you in my inbox on LT, and I'll be sure to contact you when we launch it.

Many thanks again for your hard work and see you soon !

Best,

David
