Color Preferences
Black, deep red, purple, gold, blue, and/or green. A couple of other thoughts: 1) We are not married to the "emblem" style above, it is just similar to the Mandarin Oriental logo we kind of like. Letterform, Wordform, Pictoral, and Abstract versions could also work. 2) Ideally, the new corporate logo would serve as a "parent" logo or symbol - we would develop related symbols (perhaps by simply using a different colored symbol) to represent our core functional areas (e.g. International Marketing) or key products (e.g. eMRL Data Services). Thank you.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We like the Mandarin Oriental hotel chain logo as an example. Also, please check out our website at www.bryantchristie.com for more about our company profile and current image. You can also view some of our old materials in the attached where we used different colors in materials representing BCI's different funcational areas - Ideally, we would like to use different symbols/images related to our new corporate logo to represent our different functional areas and/or products in the future.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

#1. We like this approach but it is too similar to the Mandarin Oriental. We don't want to steal their design, just use it as an example of a style we like. For example, instead of a copying the fan design, we suggest a different symbol in this space such as a stylized compass or other symbol that reflects our international work. Thank you.

We like the direction of entries #14 and #15. We would like someone to try incorporating a stylized compass in place of the Asian symbol used in #14 and #15. I have added an example as one of our contest attachments - entries should be more refined (and less cartoonish) than this example.

Thank you.

#17 is interesting but it looks to much like the US broadcasting company "NBC." Also, it has too many colors.

#36-#39 - You need to spell the company name correctly. Thank you.

#43 and #44. You are getting close. We would prefer to have the name "Bryant" and "Christie" seperated by a space. Also, perhaps try another compass design. Thank you.

#43 and #44 - The image should look more like a compass (a stylized compass). Thank you.

We are getting close but are hoping to refine a few key concepts further. We will do our best to provide timely and specific feedback.

Initially we are hoping to receive some additional design options consistent with the triangle logo (#32). One of the reasons we like this as we have three business units in our company (Trade Policy, Int'l Marketing, and Research and Information Services) and thought the triangle/pyrimid did a nice job of representing our business structure. Specifically, we would like to see additional options for how the interior of the triangle could be designed, as well as options that place those various triangle designs above different font styles for the Bryant Christie Inc. portion of the logo. The company name can be designed with or without the Inc. Some other font styles we like include those contained in designs #11, #13, #14, and #49, and #82.

Thank you for your continuing interesting in designing our logo.
